David Warner speaking during an interview:

“I'm not here to tell Pakistan cricket how to improve, but what I can say is that success comes down to attitude—how you train, how you play, and what you do when you step onto the field. My mentality is to go out there with a smile but play tough cricket. I want to dive around, save runs, and take on the bowlers. I’m not a bowler, but I want to see them play aggressively and take wickets. Even the Australian cricket team has had collapses—our middle order struggled for a long time, losing five or six wickets cheaply. But we don’t dwell on that. If you start focusing on the negatives, they become bigger problems.”

“For me, what matters is that everyone—whether it's the captain, coach, or selectors—buys into the team’s common goal. You need to identify your talent heading into a four-year cycle and stick with it.”

“One thing I will say about Pakistan cricket is that you have an incredible number of fast bowlers who regularly bowl at 140 km/h or more—you don’t find that anywhere else. That’s something truly special. Pakistan has always produced outstanding left-arm fast bowlers.”

Perfect Aussie mentality summed up by Warner , unlike our tullers trying to hoick every delivery without common sense

Warner is right. Pakistan cricket's one and only enduring attribute is 140+.

PAK cricket can only ever be built around a pace attack that threatens to break the speedgun

Still remember backing him all the while when he was labelled a T20 tullebaaz by a lot of fans at the start of his career. You know talent when you see one, specially one that has the attitude of smashing bowlers rather than grinding runs. Always believed that he will be successful in Tests and ODI's, the 2 formats that matter.

Pakistan's problem currently is their main batters scoring at slow rates. Warner was talking about taking on bowlers. Pak batters don't come out of their comfort zone.

0 0 101 0 1

The problem.is more than slow batting , it's getting out cheaply which puts the team under under pump

Warner emphasized the importance of getting on top of bowling, and it's hilarious that you are trying to defend slow batting while simultaneously praising mindset of one the greatest attacking batter ever 🤡

This is exactly what I pointed out about this guy on the Misbah thread where he shows a weird hate and dislike for him. Yet he constantly promotes Misbah's mindset and method here to enforce his own agenda.

A* hypocrite

Whos an attacking batter? You have no clue what you are talking about. You are forcefully advocating for Rizwan in the T20 side and then you have a theory of what is an attacking batter?

Nobody is advocating Rizwan inclusion , rather the incapability of aspiring players is evident

There is a difference between attacking batter and a hack
Warner emphasized on attacking cricket. Pakistan's recent losses in big event came courtesy of slow batting performances. How are hack responsible for Pakistan not achieving the desired results?

Here are knocks from the 4 matche Pakistan lost in the last 2 icc events:

30 (43) chasing 120 in t20
44 (43) vs USA
64 (90) chasing 321
46 (77) vs India (Saud was operating at 80+ SR at other end)

do you believe Warner will endorse this brand of cricket?

Broaden your horizon and see a complete what were others doing in these games. Imad Wsim batted at 65SR against Ind, Amir and Ruaf bowled pathetically against USA

What does Imad Wasim coming in at 6 or 7 have to do with Rizwan opening the innings and scoring 33 off 45? And getting out before Imad arriving to the crease?

Those performances are also to blamed, but the two out of three players you mentioned are no longer part of the team and haven't formed the core of the current side. Their playing style philosophy has not been imposed on the team.

Rizwan and Babar are also out of team , what are teams performances beaten Black and blue against 3rd NZ side

47 from 46 needed, 7 wickets in hand , Imad Wasim takes the strike now who is to blame

Again, the argument was about the top order crapping the bed in the powerplay which Rizwan and Babar have done throughout. Their T20i sr's in ICC tournaments are for everyone to see.

What does this have to do with Imad????

I love how vs India, everyone talked about the fact that NY was a nightmarish pitch and the easiest position to bat was opening.

But as soon as Imad wasim came out to bat, people started pretending as if he was failing on Legend league 40M pitches.

Whats the argument? Rizwan and Babar did well in that game and Imad failed according to the Jedi Council?

Top order laid the foundation got more than half of target done, surely middle order also has to contribute, 152/0 does not happens every day

The argument is that Imad Wasim Failed to take Pakistan over the line. Which granted even though it was a difficult pitch, it's still a fair argument.

Problem is what Imad Failed to do on a nightmarish pitch, Babar and Rizwan have made it a habit to achieve this feat in 99% of the games they have ever played irrespective of the pitch.

Rizwan throughout his very long career has 2 outlier innings in his life, followed by Babar Azam having 3.

^^ Compare that to Imad who's played lesser games but pretty much was the X factor during our no 1 t20 run even more so then fakhar at the time since even full strength Australia struggled against him in his initial 2 to 3 over onslaught spell.

Even batters like mitchell ownes struggles due to his straight darters that don't leave any room for ever and t20 batters love to loft.

So keep them out let the young players have a fair chance. And I don't think that I need to bring up the disappointments Pakistan suffered with RizBar in the team.

Delusional Pak fans much rather support the Saya Agenda which directly is in conflict with Warner’s suggestion.

If you truly value what Warner is suggesting, you wouldn’t advocate the factors which inspire the lifeless cricket you’ve been playing.
