Why Shadab never tried to play test cricket? How can he improve his bowling by bowling just 4 overs in T20 cricket and now he occasionally plays ODIs? Shadab was once a great prospect but he lost the track completely with too much focus on T20s, a spinner has more role to play in test cricket rather than limited overs games

He was talking about both, and he's right. Hafeez's batting was always his primary responsibility, just as Nawaz and Shadab's primary responsibility is their bowling.

No doubt about that. For a while he was a mainstay in our team, opening both batting and bowling. Saim I think is heading down the same path.

I'm not doubting his performances, it's really his outlandish statements that I'm calling out. I remember he was stubborn and always wanted to bat at the top of the order and found it an insult if he had to bat lower. And there's many instances he failed as a batter but would still get his quota of overs.

Hahah yeah I know. But atleast he called out his son-in-law for his lack of performance, whatever his motivation may have been. Saqlain can't even do that.

Also, I don't really believe Afridi has any influence in selection policies.
