The team has some loopholes. Still has a lot of gas to remain the champs. We really need to score more runs and stop relying too much on our bowling.

Well thats the strength - the bowling. Agree batting can do much better but the bowling is superb. Take so many wickets each game.

One of the best series wins for Sarfraz against a decent team although weak against spin which was the main reason they lost.

I don't think any team can beat us in a T20I series, aside from a full strength WI.

Well Faheem bowling has been really good. Also his innings today with the BAT was the difference.

Also PAK can do much better then we showed last 2 games.

Yeah he did well too but Imad conceded 3 of 3 overs up front that was the winning spell for sure.

There were questions as to whether our #1 ranking was merited and if we could beat the top teams but after beating Australia (twice) and New Zealand in their backyard, those doubts are being laid to rest.

We do need some boundary hitters though as we do have 1-2 too many accumulators.

11 wins in a row for Arsenal and 10 T20 wins in a row for Pakistan. Life is good.

From humiliating T20WC 2016 to number 1 with 10 in row is huge jump

Actually a very good Aussie team. Some real devastating batters in their line up. Only missing Warner

Batting is still a concern but from the world t20 disaster to this is a huge achievement.

Whats the longest series winning streak all formats combined ?

Enjoy y'all.

Being ranked #7!

What are we, West Indies? T20 mercenaries?

Not sure what you want them to do? Forfeit every match besides India, since that is the be-all and end-all for you lot here?

Show some humility in celebrations, do not become another WI who are trash in other formats except T20s.

Fans deserve to celebrate the 10th series win a row by their team. Pakistan has been dominant as a T20 team in the last two years. If you see anyone call Pakistan a beast in ODI or Test cricket on the basis of T20 cricket, by all means call them out on it. But your thread is in poor taste and reeks of an ulterior motive.

Nice to be number 1 but still worried about our batting long term. The next World T20 is in Australia on flat pitches, if we had to chase 200 down with this current like up I would be worried.

Just what I posted in the other thread.

T20 is a format for the future and here to stay, deal with it. Rankings aside, this is a great run by out T20 side. This Aus T20 side is still decent without Warner and Smith. Their top 4 are highly sough after by T20 leagues around the world. If they are struggling against spin on these pitches, is it Pakistan's fault?

We have a decent bowling lineup and our fielding is improving. However, there are still question marks on the batting. Players like Sahibzada and Talat are better suited for ODIs. Asif Ali is finding intl. cricket a jump too big. But we don't have many explosive openers and middle order batsmen back home who can play with strike rate of 140+ in T20s. So, I am not sure sure who can replace these 3. At this point, Babar and Malik to a large extent and Fakhar (struggles in UAE) and Sarfaraz (can't hit) to a lesser extent belong to this T20 lineup. This still leaves us with 2 gaping holes in our top 6. We need 2 explosive players who can help us post or chase 180 runs in T20.

If we also beat NZ in the next series, this side would have beaten every major team except England and India in the past 2 years. This is a feat to be proud of, not made fun by fickle minded posters like Hawkeye and Mamoon.

We have already beaten Eng in Eng in 2016 and Nz in Nz, this year..

No other nation has produced as many great T20 cricketers as Pakistan and that is what is most effective in T20 cricket, exceptional individuals.

Impressive achievement, well done.

Even India is on a long winning streak in T20 series. How lovely it would have been to have an Indo-Pak T20 series right now, streak vs streak contest, hate bloody politicians and hawks.

Enjoy y'all.

Did we just win against Zimbabwe?

If you can't enjoy a win against Australia then when are you supposed to celebrate?

Well... regardless of beating A teams or Z teams, in terms of consistency, which is an overall foreign concept in Pakistan cricket, this is an a exceptional achievement.

Enjoy y'all.

I dont understand your point, should Pakistan have lost on purpose or not celebrate after the win? What exactly did you want to happen in this series?

Congrats! Is that a record steak? Certainly well deserved #1.

There are only 2 teams that can challenge Pakistan properly. England and India, because they have a power packed batting lineup that can take on the Pakistani bowling. Against them, the Pakistani batsmen will need to deliver and target 180 scores rather then 160, which are sufficient for other teams, because of the Pakistani bowling.

England have a slightly weaker bowling, so over a 3 match series, Pakistan should prevail. It will be close though.

Against India, I reckon India will edge them, due to a tremendous top 4, followed by Pant and Pandya. The bowling is also pretty good so, Pakistani batsmen will find it difficult to score massive (they don’t score big against mid level teams in any case).
Nonethelsss those 2 will be good series.

Regardless of the quality of oppositions, this is an amazing feat. Well done to Pakistan!

No India Only Because England Was Thrashed Badly By Same Australia And New Zealand Which Was Beaten By Pakistan

Who were the opponents in this 10 series? Just curious, because winning 10 series is good one.

I thought Inzamam ul Haq had selected a poor squad with no "front-line" spinners and that, coupled with Hafeez, would cost us?

There is a reason you guys don't make a cent for coming up with squads.

ENG
W.I. (U.A.E, W.I, and PAK)
World XI
SL
NZ
SCT
Tri-Series (ZIM + AUS)
AUS

Some very strong teams in there. Only ones we haven't beaten are South Africa, who are easily inferior, and India, who are probably third-best.

Pakistan has historically been the best IT20 team. Counts for much less than being the best test or ODI team historically (arguably top three in both those formats) but it is still a good achievement.

Its no coincidence in this time the fielding has improved. There was a stat Pakistan has the most run outs than any other nation over recent times, this would be unheard of 10 years ago.

Pakistan has always been a good t20 team overall.

I would like to see us play a 3 match series against the Afghans, give thme a 3-0 hiding too.

In a format where anybody can literally beat anybody in international cricket Pakistan has proven to be the best adaptable team and able to quickly assess situation and overcome the opposotion.. Hats off for the phenomenal achievement! NewZealand watchout!

The last one is a fluke win as it is an Aussie B, C team.

Oh yes every time Pakistan wins its a fluke in fact this wasn't Australia c team this was Australia z team or better yet it wasn't even Australia it was the national team of Fiji hahahaha god this poster is such a pak hater should be on the ignore list

The last one is a fluke win as it is an Aussie B, C team.

It's not a fluke for the reason that we're consistently winning matches.

Unlike CT.

Also, our T20 bowling is way too effective on slow, low pitches like the UAE.

Do you genuinely think Pakistan is a top 3 team in ODIs or tests? Because that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard this week.

The last one is a fluke win as it is an Aussie B, C team.

It was the exact same team that smashed Eng and NZ in a T20 tri-series earlier this year, minus Warner. Don't run mouth without knowledge.

Tests Pakistan beat everyone at home just like everybody else but also can compete in England Unlike say India.

Dont like this new trend of calling every victory of Pakistan as either fluke or against trash opposition.

This is getting boring now.

Tests Pakistan beat everyone at home just like everybody else but also can compete in England Unlike say India.

Pakistan got whitewashed in their last tours of Australia, NZ, and SA. They lost a series at home to SL, lost a test at home to WI, and lost a test in WI and SL. They're not even as good as SL at this point, and are probably the 7th best test team right now (as the rankings suggest).

They certainly don't beat everyone at home. They've drawn and lost several matches.

Only Srilanka has beaten them once i last few years and Pakistan have beaten them away in return. All other teams have lost to Pakistan at home It doesnt matter if you win a single game here and there mostly Pakistan have won almost every series they play at home.
