A close call but rest of the world xi would win by around 25-50 runs or 2-3 wickets.All-rounders in rest of the world team are crucial .Australia has lethal pace but Rest of the world has more diversity in bowling.

Sorry, but I disagree with the basic premise.

Australia’s 5-1 home victory in 75-76 over West Indies was the last roar of a dying lion.

Clive Lloyd responded by putting together a four man pace attack, and by the time Packer came around 18 months later, Roberts and Holding had been toughened up by the 5-1 series but more importantly Garner and Croft had replaced Boyce and Daniel.

West Indies overtook Australia in 1977: Australia couldn’t even retain The Ashes.

In terms of your Rest of the World team, I’d drop Tony Greig and Zaheer Abbas and bring in Vince Van Der Bijl and Graeme Pollock.
