Too bad he cant bowl like the legend. Loopy thing outside off stump punished by Edwards for four.

50 Edwards. :14:

Good patient fairly solid test match knock.

Now going after David Warner's pies. :))

Narrrr. England pwned these bowlers.

Fair play if Cummins and Starc are injured, but dropping Patto was disgraceful.

Starc is actually on the tour as a net bowler by the way.

As a net bowler? Fail.

Hopefully there is no Collapso Cricket and Windies make a game of this :D

Aussies looking about as antipodean and intense as a plate of fish and chips at the moment.

 Brahwaite mis-times a Warner full toss to mid on.

Geoff Boycotts mother could hit it harder with a stick of Rhubarb.

Edwards adds insult to injury. Hits a four after being dropped. Good stuff :14:

Aussies making a meal of catches. Great watch..almost as good as Indians getting hammered....almost. :)

Siddle's wide range of the English language in full flow. :)))

Shot again! Serial Killer Siddle getting cross :))

Haha good old Sid Vicious is back now at least, cursing & hitting the splice with lifters.

Just needed a drop or two to wake him up.

No!

Warner gets Edwards with a nothing ball
Catch was nicely held though.

Noooooooo!

Good partnership though. Platform is laid. Hopefully no collapse :P

Warner to KA Edwards, OUT, Warner produces the wicket. His first in Test cricket. He goes wide of the crease, the ball doesn't quite come out right, pitches short, and Edwards rocks back to hit this one somewhere. The ball turns away, though, taking the bottom part of the bat, and flies straight back at Warner, who recovers well in the follow-through to catch it

I take it back, Warner bowling rather well here. Nice drift, a bit of turn and fairly accurate.

Darren Bravo in, a wonderful talent but hasn't been in good touch for a while.

A six and a four, never mind...

Seven bowlers used already, Michael? Muddling around a bit there eh...

Windies 158 for 2 and everyone goes for a cup of tea. Good effort.

Strike rate of 29. Really poor batsmen in my view. He may be only 19 but come on.

Nice shot, standing up tall and a second. Who thinks he could make a ton by the end of the test?

impressive by windies. brathwaite looks like a promising batsman. edwards looks like the real deal too.

Barath and Kirk are very good batsman. Saw them bat for many tests. When will Barath improve his temperament?!!!

WI need to add at least 200 runs tomorrow. Then unleash The Castro. I hope Ravi is picked for next two tests, he has improved a lot and a wicket taker now.

Going to be tough. 3/240 so far. 350 is probably a good score on this wicket.

94.1
Watson to Bravo, OUT, Watto finally gets one. Length ball, pitched on off, shapes away a bit, Bravo is committed to the ****, and manages only an outside edge. This one goes neither short, nor over. Neither right not left. Straight to fully
DM Bravo c Hussey b Watson 51 (123b 7x4 1x6) SR: 41.46

:))

The top four have all worked hard but failed to go onto a big score like an 80 or a ton. Chanderpaul has got a start and needs to show them how it's done. That will be the difference between Windies scoring 320 and 400.

Tap and run for god's sake.Rotate the strike at least. What is the point of having a solid vigil for two sessions if you cannot cash in during the final where the bowlers are tired and not at their best?

Yeah you have to think that if the Windies top order can all get starts but throw them away, that Clarke, Ponting & Hussey will not be as generous if they get in.

Windies could go on to 375 or be rolled for 290 right now.

Looks like a pitch which is holding up / two paced. Might be hard to work the singles.

Seeing alot of drives either sliced or aborted, none middled.

Have to wait till the other team bats to judge the pitch.Lets see.

Hoping against the famous caribbean collapse here.

Wow. Watson always surprised me with the bounce he can get for just an average height cricketer. Sharp when he bends his back.

Windies Wobbling.

Chanders is still a rock but Baugh really needs to last till lunch & then dig in for 45 min/1 hour after tea.

When Sammy bats he should just go for boundaries. A quick 30-50 could be just the ticket.

Hope Baugh stays strong out there. I don't rate him at all but he has to give support to Chanderpaul who looks solid.

Baugh has some talent, he needs a 50 here to cement his place for sure. Ramdin I see is a better batsmen.

They are going to leave the field now. Rain disrupting play. I hope they take lunch early here.

Chanderpaul averaging 49.5 here. Hope he reaches 50 with 10000 runs. Great batsmen, legend for sure.

Oh, even my girlfriend likes Chanders (she calls him "the little crab-man batsman").

Baugh can really prove his worth here. A fighting 20-30 from him is all they really ask, that would add a 50 run partnership before Sammy comes in to swing for the fences.

This has been a phenomenal performance by West Indies!
Really happy to see them playing well and them on the rise.
They really are putting on a solid strong fight here and grinding it out.
Their approach has been very similar to Pakistans approach in the past few years - and that is a real grind out workman type innings and fighting for every run

Baugh playing a lot better than I thought. Playing decently well. He just needs to stick around and help WI get too 400.

Now thats a beauty of a strike. He gets 4 this time. Some good strokes here from Baugh. 18*

west indies doing well, if they can take the score near or over 400 it would be a miracle on their behalf,

hopefully this is the start of west indies recovery.

Wouldn't say it's a miracle. Its a very very flat wicket however it is spinning a bit.

A lovely stroke there from Chanderpaul, well timed but won't go all the way. He gets 3.

22 off 37. This is where Baugh usually gives it away. Baugh must stay at the wicket now.
