PTI has been extremely successful in 2018 where it relatively underperformed in 2013.What changed?

In 2013, the majority did not have faith in PTI because of their inexperience.

However, after ruling KP for 5 years,
people believe that they have gained enough experience to rule the country and would have learned from the mistakes that they made during their first shot at governance.

Furthermore, PML-N were greatly damaged by the Panama Leaks and the verdict of the Supreme Court to disqualify Nawaz and send him and his daughter to jail.

Imran Khan compromising on his ideology by giving tickets to electables also played a significant role in PTI’s landslide victory.

I don't think anyone has looked at 2013-2018 KPK and decided to vote PTI, except in KPK. The entire vote for KPK was to either punish Nawaz or bring Naya Pakistan
