England team is lack of common sense. The prime example are Moeen and Jordan's run out. England team should retire from ODI after loosing all the matches to the test playing nation (They are just not fit for this format).

There was a lack of experience for certain. Hales should have played fifty ODIs by now. He should have been ever-present for the last two years. Taylor too.

But it is more complex than that. There were many selection errors and there seems to have been a "It'll be all right on the night mentality. England's two opening bowlers are not fit. Finn has gone backwards - the ECB should pay Dennis Lillee whatever he asks to come over and coach him. I don't know why Tredwell never played, given that the quicker men kept getting whacked. Morgan has not been worth his place for a long time.

The preparation for WC 2019 has to start right now, beginning with some changes to the coaching staff. The ECB has to accept that England are minnows and start afresh.

I wouldnt take him at this moment in time, but he has a few years on the O'Briens and Joyce so may well come in for one of them if as suspected his England career is done and dusted.

The Irish batting would become really strong with Morgan in the side. Personally, I don't Morgan will be dropped for good from the English side though, so he probably won't go back to Ireland.

Bangladesh fined for slow over-rate in Adelaide

Bangladesh has been fined for maintaining a slow over-rate during its Pool A match against England in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at the Adelaide Oval on Monday.*

Ranjan Madugalle of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees imposed the fine afterMashrafe Mortaza’s*side was ruled to be two overs short of its target when time allowances were taken into consideration.

In accordance with Article 2.5.1 of theICC Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel, which relates to minor over-rate offences, players are fined 10 per cent of their match fees for every over their side fails to bowl in the allotted time, with the captain fined double that amount.

As such, Mashrafe was fined 40 per cent of his match fee, while his players received 20 per cent fines.

For a captain to be suspended during an ICC event, he must commit two minor over-rate offences or one serious over rate offence during the event.* Therefore, if Mashrafe is found guilty of one more minor over-rate offence during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 while acting as captain, he will receive a one-match suspension during the event.

Mashrafe*pleaded guilty to the offence and accepted the proposed sanction, so there was no need for a formal hearing.

England essentially took their Test players and gave them a blue jersey. I feel like they went with a traditional team and did not look for different types of players and that has lead to their downfall.

There bowling attack is also over-rated and out of form. They need to completely cleanse this team and start from square 1.

As for Bangladesh, congrats on the win, I knew you guys would beat a depleted England side. But you guys won't go farther than the quarters most likely, considering that India should be able to beat ya'll quite easily.

Saw the match last night with my bengali friends. And let me just say that its not just our pakistan team that has a habit of creating excitement till the last minute!! The match twisted and turned. With me shouting "give the ball to Rubel" and my bengali friends thinking i was crazy. Rubel delivered in the end and my friends thought i was a genius and i thought thank God "izzat bach gai"
