From an Irish point of view, it again shows how god damn determined and mentally strong this team is. Never give up and always try to win.

But the death bowling cant be ignored anymore. It was awful. No disrespect meant, but letting the UAE reach 131-6 off 30 to 278 is terrible stuff, and the constant short balls are mindboggling. Bowl at the stumps like the UAE did!!

A fantastic 2 points considering the hole we dug ourselves into at first, and means we can afford a loss to either Zim or Pak, assuming we beat one of them.

Unlucky [MENTION=137262]Firebreaker[/MENTION] [MENTION=54243]Azlan Khan[/MENTION], but in the preview I pointed out the fielding as a weakness and boy did it show. 5 wickets at least were missed and several runs leaked. But they bowled brilliantly and recovered fantastically from 130-6. Will give other teams a scare I'm sure.

Well both Pakistan and Zimbabwe won't be that easy, especially zimbabwe. Their bowling is a little better than yours and Batting is on par. Pakistan have a lot of problems and ireland have a better chance against them.

Im glad this match was this close and entertaining. So far only matches involving associates have been able to provide close matches. This kinda indicates that Ireland, Afghanistan and UAE are on the similar page. Scotland just needs to give a little scare to one of the big guys and ICC will be under immense pressure.

The main diff between Ire and UAE today was fitness....fielding

thats what Aaqib javed also mentioned to raise the fitness level of these guys was the biggest challenge when he joined but they have improved what they were when Aaqib joined but still you can't win matches with this fitness...
