They are presently the complete package.

A powerful batting line up that runs deep

A Good experienced captain

Superb fit fielding unit

Versatile all rounders

They are a good bowling unit except for the lack of experience. But they are playing at home.

Man how England have turned around their limited overs side to be among the best in the world. A very impressive transformation.

As I said before, England is one strike bowler away from being virtually unbeatable in ODIs. They don't have the best ODI batsman and ODI opener in the world, but they have the best batting unit.

The Champions Trophy and the World Cup are their to lose. Whether they will choke under the weight of expectations depends on how many South African born players they have in their team.

If it is only 4-5, they won't choke.

We need to take their example and get rid of these oldies. Before people say we don't have the talent atleast we can try to bring in new players.

Australia, India, England and SA (with Amla, AB) are equally explosive batting unit but only SA and Aus have the bowling to defend those high scores.

SA choke, so they more or less are out even before the tournament begins.

Australia have the best shot. India's bowling edges England if we have a fit Shami operating with Bhuvy and Bumrah.

Replacing old mediocrity with new mediocrity is still mediocrity.

Find me players like Roy, Hales, Root, Buttler, Bairstow, Stokes, Moeen and Woakes, and I will happily see the likes of Hafeez, Azhar, Malik, Umar, Rizwan get axed for good.

South Africa will have to drop Amla if they want to win ICC trophies.

I actually feel better about our chances .. Once Rohit comes our batting is settled.. Death bowling is fine .. If the tracks spin even a little bit I bet we'll make the finals.. But Eng & Aus are favorites though.

Maybe those new mediocre players will actually get better with experience. The old ones will just play for a couple of years or even less.

Winning a major Tourney needs some star power, the only true Star England had was KP and he won them a T20 WC. Rest of the time England has a good team but it is always less than the sum of its parts!

Yes, but if they are not performing, they will be dropped.

If you bring a young batsman who is inferior to Malik etc., it will be only a matter of time before the selectors go back to Malik. This is how the likes of him, Hafeez, Kamran etc. keep making comebacks.

You have to win matches too. You can't play non-performers in the hope that one day they might become good. The worrying aspect is that these so-called old players are still amongst the very best in domestic cricket.

Kamran right now is the best F/C batsman in the country. What more needs to be said?

No, they don't have a good bowling unit, and it's not a one strike bowler issue, yes they have good allrounders, but they are sacrificing specialist bowlers for them and that includes spinners as well, people keep forgetting u need ur bowlers to turn up in the tournament as well .

When India won in 2011 yuvi the allrounder and zak played huge part in it, in 2007 wc mcgrath was mos and 2015 it was Starc, in 2013 final it was the over from ishant that changed the match.

Their bowling is a huge problem. Wouldn't be confident with them defending anything under 350 against India and Australia.

Need to improve there bowling, also fielding wise they have dropped some sitters . Not as good as Australia and South Africa in this department.

There batting line up is dangerous and powerful, has players who can clear the boundary all the way down the order. Maybe chasing targets might suit them more.

No, they won't win it because Root, Buttler, and Stokes are the biggest chokers in their team.

Bowling attack is quite simply not good enough.
Woakes
Stokes
Willey
Topley
Moeen
Rashid
Jordan
Ball
Plunkket
Ali

Absolutely garbage. Although they will score high, when they come up against a good batting outfit, they will get taken to the cleaners.
