I have not watched a single match, however based on the results, I see I think Pakistan had a poor tourney, however it is good to see they secured 3rd place, but i felt we could have at least made the finals. Regardless all the best to Pakistan Hockey in the future.

How did Pakistan lose to South Africa? Even Egypt defeated SA.

Pakistan team is such a slow starter but this is not good enough.

South Africa isnt a bad side their decent, and we had close matches with them in the past, but EGYPT beating South Africa that was an upset.

Regardless not a good tourney for Pakistan, we should have made the finals atleast.

Malaysia are 2022 champions of Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

They beat South Korea in the final by a score of 3-2.

This is the first time Malaysia has won (tourney started in 1983, and Malaysia has always been host, and this is their first time winning, remarkable indeed).

If Pakistan can grow its GDP per capita it can invest more money in hockey and squash. These days sports are about money, infrastructure, & coaching.
