Those who don't know... OP is talking about Junaid (Tape) and Pant (3D).

I personally don't find anything hilarious about broken dreams and pain for being left out.

Whats wrong with it?

exactly

that too when you know this is your last worldcup .

Sport is a cut throat game, selections are not made on emotuion, regardless of if it was his last world cup he did not perfrom against england and selectors want to try something dfferent.

We fans are such an entitled bunch. We judge, mock and badmouth sports personnel without understanding the struggle, pain and rejections they have to endure before reaching this level.

Junaid Khan in England

Saw this on twitter not sure how accurate but if its true then sach karwa hota hai.

Well, Junaid knew his career is over so he can do whatever he wants.

Kohli or someone said the team needed 3 dimensional players thats why Pant was overlooked, quite clever if you ask me.

Venkatesh Prasad.. Prasad said Shankar is 3 dimensional guy and in the end Raydu was omitted due to him..

Junaid had a chance and he didn't take advantage of it. He should stop crying and playing the victim.

You can't outdue us. I give you the real crybaby!! and a successful one. Taskin. He cried in front of the TV and guess what? He is IN THE WC SQUAD now!!!!! In expense of a bowler who just got a fifer for the national team. Abu Jayed. Experience!!! Facepalm.

Really wow I liked taskin too but Abu Jayed is good too but tbh you guys barely have any chance do it doesn’t really matter

I think Ambtii's tweet came out as cheeky, funny and subtle.
While Junaid is openly displaying his resentment which is his right.
Apples and oranges TBH

I dont think Taskin is in the WC squad, Abu Jayed is.

Compare this to Willey's tweet. A guy who actually performed during the recent series and was still dropped. Still made a respectable tweet unlike joker Junaid.

Willy & Denly teaching the subcontinent cricketers how to keep your emotions in check & more importantly that your country is BIGGER then your ego 🤦🏽*♂️

:))) That's gold

I saw the video LOL LOL. could have done it at a corner, did it in front of the whole nation.

Junaid has always come across as a person who lets emotions get the better of him. The method he chose to express himself is absolutely wrong but then to be honest what happened would have demotivated a lot of players. I think Usman and Faheem would have been as disappointed, if not more by what happened. Its just that they are more sensible and less emotional than Junaid. Also they have time on their side, which Junaid doesn't. Had the selectors not brought in someone who was not even close to the ODI team for two years, and it had been Usman or Faheem, I would've attributed this outburst to a false sense of entitlement but with Wahab's selection, one can empathize with his point of view. The English players are certainly more mature than Junaid but Willey and Denly always knew their chances of being selected were very slim and the people who replaced them did so through due process. It is not like England replaced Willey with Finn or Broad.

His real issue is he is not a 3D cricketer like the two others mentioned who took his place. The larger than life image of Amir and Wahab's aitchinsonian persona make them more 'attractable' and 'representable' options for the country than a guy from Swabi, despite whatever the stats suggest. Hence he will never get the same margin of 'non performance' these names end up getting. Or the same mileage from fans and PCB alike.

Alot of careers have ended with Stats of Amir and Wahab's level of performance, but the truth is they stand once again... on the reputation of past endeavors
