:)) What parallel...only OP can come up with such marvel.

Naxals are bonafide terrorists and govt deals with them appropriately. But no sane people in Chhattisgarh pick arms and pelt stones at jawaans supporting naxals.

And surgical strike?? You do surgical strike when a state is reluctant to act against perpetrators. One do surgical strike in a mission to kill the enemy in a surgical precision without the reluctant state knowing its where abouts. Why would anyone do a surgical strike in Chattisgarh when army can attack the naxals openly :))

Have to agree with you here, Naxals aren't fighting for independence and hence there are no surgical strikes to be had

Salaam to your Aqal which took everything so literally without actually grasping the message behind what i said and came here with your definitions of surgical strike. Not surprising from you though. You have proven your lack of critical reading ability and comprehension many a times.

And quite nice that you are now openly defending the people who targetted Kashmiris by saying that people of chattisgarh dont pelt stones while Kashmiris do and hence treatment of Kashmiris in India is justifiable.

What? I have always defended our army's action in Kashmir. Every action has equal and opposite reaction. You pelt stones and pick arms against army.....army (trained professionals) will return the same favour. Simple.

And then a kashmir boy killed your 40+ soldiers. Simple.

12 Naxalites Gunned Down By Security Forces In Chhattisgarh; January Toll Rises To 26

As many as 12 Naxalites were killed in a fierce encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Thursday, a senior police official said.

The gunfight broke out at around 9 am in a forest of south Bijapur when a joint team of security personnel was out an anti-Naxalite operation and the intermittent exchange of fire lasted till late in the evening, he said.

Personnel belonging to the state police’s District Reserve Guard (DRG) from three districts, five battalions of CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action – an elite jungle warfare unit of the CRPF) and the 229th battalion of CRPF were involved in the operation, he said.

“As per preliminary information, 12 Naxalites were killed in the gunfight. Further details were awaited as a search operation was still underway in the area," the official informed.

No harm was reported to security forces, he said.

With this, 26 Naxalites have been gunned down in separate encounters in the state so far this month.

On January 12, five Maoists, including two women, were killed in an encounter with security personnel in the Madded police station area of Bijapur district.

Last year, 219 Naxalites were neutralised by security forces in separate encounters in the state.

In a major achievement, security forces gunned down eight Naxalites in an encounter in Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.

The encounter started at around 8:30 am in the forests of the Gangaloor police station area when a joint team of security personnel was carrying out an anti-Naxalite operation, news agency PTI reported.

According to police, the anti-Naxalite operation was launched on Friday following intelligence inputs about the presence of Maoist cadres from the West Bastar Division in the region.

The joint team comprised of personnel from the District Reserve Guard (DRG), Special Task Force (STF) of the state police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), including its elite unit CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action).
