5 changes that should be made in Pakistan LOI setup after this tour!

1) We need to find an immediate replacement for Rizwan. Someone young, and capable of batting. Rizwan is an absolute DUD!

2) Shinwari, Asif Ali need to get dropped from all squads. Talat needs to be only selected for ODI squad as backup. Hassan Ali, needs to be dropped from t20I.

3) Even though i shudder while I type this but we might need to bring Umar Akmal or Sohaib Maqsood back, if theres such a dearth of finishers in Pakistan. They should be backup options, Hafeez should play the finisher role from now on.

4) Ahmed Shehzad, needs to be brought back as backup for all formats. He was dropped for smoking a blunt. I think he has learnt his lesson. Also, is a good test player and is a suitable backup one down (has played that role for HBL) or opener option.

5) Shan Masood needs to be given chance in the next series in ODIs.

Also, on a side note, someone should knock sense in Fakhar Zaman and tell him that next two tours could very well become his final tours if he keeps on getting out like that.

1. Unfair for rizwan not even a single game in test or odi. Give him 1 more series. People need to understand that rizwan is a stroke player, if i was the captain i would open the batting with him and drop fakhar for next series so he can work on his pull shots and work on his game plan.

2. Umar Akmal is the only batsmen i would bring in for the next series. He is an amazing talent just need backing like we backed fakhar zaman.

3. Shan should be tested and malik should be rested for next series.

4. I feel we need an off spinner or left arm spinner. Shehzad is a failure and not made for odi cricket.

You are making an assumption that Shan will succeed in ODIs. He might as well fail and get back to his older ways. Also now that Malik is not bowling anymore, we should start thinking of him as a pure batsman. No way Malik's position is locked in the playing 11.

Saud Shakeel, well, the window is too small but if Haris is injured for rest of the year, then sure thing.

Umar Akmal and Sohaib Maqsood PSL is going to be a big deciding factor for them for their selection for sure.

Agree, Babar has shown that if hes given the luxury of powerplay and pace, he can hit at a very high SR freely. I would say we should go all in with this and play Babar at the top.

Feel Umar Akmal might end up making costly drops, so wouldnt have him as the backup keeper.

Most issues with akmal have related to his batting. His wicket keeping in limited formats is adequate. I see him as a quickie 20 and wicketkeeper type player. I have No expectations of batting from him.

Why was Shehzad ever dropped from our Tests? He has a great Test record, averages 41 in Tests as opener. Bring him back for Tests only IMO. Also, for Tests I'd bring in Saad Ali, Usman Saluhuddin and Zafar Gohar and maybe Umar Akmal if he does well next FC season.

For ODIs U. Akmal, Saud Shakeel, Junaid, Zafar Gohar defintely should be brought in.
