Two explanations. Lack of ability in our batsmen inspite of their best efforts and the big improvements oppositions have made vis a vis Pakistan and fitness gap as well.

Did anyone seriously think it would be any different this time? This is how we have played for the last 30 years and we keep picking the same players so why would we get a different result?

But but but Mickey Arthur and Sarfraz were going to play an aggressive brand of cricket.

They had nothing to lose! :najam

Sharjeel was the one player who broke the mould in recent times and he was the one who got caught socialising with fixers. Go figure.

What do you expect? You handicap yourself with Wahab Riaz and Azhar Ali in a playing eleven. These two have contributed immensely in us losing today's match.

Just look at Azhar groping around the crease for God's sake. He's out of place clearly.

There are limitation and our players are limited. This modern brand of one day cricket is not in grasp of players we produce.

Pakistan will need to change the cricket from junior level for this change otherwise no real difference can be made by any coach or captain.

But Mickey wants to play modern attacking cricket.....

They really have no idea what they are doing. Afraid of hitting because they know they can't hit fours and sixes. Blame goes to selectors who picked test players for ODIs.

Really disappointing... it is almost sad and hopeless. Good batting pitch, opposition misfielding left and right, and here we are trying to play a test match inning. Meh...

Yeah but some people will stay say we should not take a chance of Fahkar, he can't do any worse

The reality our skills are very out dated

Same old soulless performance from Pakistan. It's not surprising; they are the worst ranked team in the tournament after all. I think West Indies would have at least entertained the public.

Azhar goes and Malik replaces him just to increase the number of dot balls. LOL

A classic example of players playing for their own spots in the team.

This is what happens when you pick donkeys to run in a horse race! Well done inzi great selections in sqaud.. azhar, shezi and hafeez proving your justification of experience in these conditions. PCB should withdraw the team from competition of save futher embrassement!
