1. China – 1st place (regained top spot, ≈231 points)
2. United States – 2nd place (≈216 points, including 5 golds, 1 silver)
3. South Korea – 3rd place (≈203 points)
4. Poland & Japan – tied for 4th
5. Israel – 6th place
6. India – 7th place (3 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze; record 193/252)
7. Singapore – 8th place
8. Vietnam – 9th place (2 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze; 188 points)

Last year, Bharat achieved 4th rank.

Such drop in ranking is not acceptable in the current scenario. The country needs math athletes.

These academians do and promote alot of research. Like India is currently also involved in cancer therapeutics and has research done to find cure for different cancers. Its all because of the academia in thee countries.

sir its not a school mohalla competation. Its one of the oldest competitions and biggest aswell. Only smartest of the people are sent here.

This competation forces countries to identify gifted students in their own country, and mathematics is looked into deeply. Its not 2 + 2 questions, these are questions that people like you and me cant solve, and those who can solve it are scouted out who can later advance later on in this field.

Alot of the worlds questions can be answered through mathematics.

This is what leads to a Nobel Prize. Nobel Prize winners win a prize for proving their research. This event scouts out the potential researchers especially in the field of mathematics.

Let’s be real, you mock India’s rank because you can’t compete. A typical Pakistani reaction to most Indian achievements. It’s the bitterness of a country that has prioritized madrassa brainwashing, militancy, and political chaos over education, science, and development.

While India is producing IITs, Nobel laureates, CEOs of global companies, and elite Olympiad performers, Pakistan is still trying to decide if girls should go to school without getting acid thrown at them.

Pakistan ridiculing academic achievement is like a dropout mocking a gold medallist. You don’t value education because your state has systematically dismantled it by replacing schools with extremist indoctrination and critical thinking with conspiracy theories.

Just remember this is the result of decades of choices. India built institutions. Pakistan built excuses.

Just to remind you, Pakistan does send a team of its students aswell in this olympiad aswell. Also, this olympiad is being mostly won by Chinese and US students. Interestingly the maths that they teach in US is an easier level compared to India. So alot of arguments can be made on Indias education system aswell.

This Mohalla competition is very much famous in your daddy China, way more than India, go give a lecture there first lol.
The kids become heroes in China, in India mostly nerds know them, in China they become household names.
