Its good to announce some incentives and bonuses if your team does pull off an incredible victory but at the same time there should be strict scrutiny too on failures.

Pakistan crashed out of the ICC WC 2023 ignominiously but still the same characters are lurking in the team, the same captain Babar Azam has now been given an extension until 2025. Still 9 members of that squad have made it into the Ireland & England Series so the big question is where is the dogma of accountability here. Are the coaches the only one to be scapegoated or will PCB take any action against players too?

So besides the carrot approach we need to use the stick too to rectify the shortcomings in the PCT. What are your thoughts guys share below.

TBE , can you name 4-5 players who should not have been part of WC squad ? In Indian context , I do not think Pandu , Chahal , Avesh & Rohit [ if not the skipper ] should have been in the squad !

I am not sure that PCB is rich enough to afford $100,000 USD to each player. Trust me, with the lure of money, players will get motivated by money, but not for playing for the green star.

Sure in case of Pakistan guys like Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf shouldn't have been part of the squad. And instead of fielding two anchors in top 3 we need to drop either Rizwan or Babar from the team for the proper balance in the side. Also Shadab is a decent batter in T20s but still we have failed to come up with a spin soecialist like Mehran Mumtaz etc for the side which is a big concern for us. Hopefully Imad would do good here

just 2 put in context , IPL 2024 winner will get around $ 2.4 M & to take it further along , players like Ishan Kishan have net worth of $ 8 M just because of IPL which is decent money anywhere !!!

[And if all this was not enough of a motivation, well there is more. Pakistan won the T20 World Cup in 2009 and if they can repeat the same feat then they will get a whopping 300 per cent increase in match fees that approximately comes to around Rs 10,000,00] By Ramiz Raja administration

Interestingly enough Ramiz Raja announced a blanket cheque offer for players before the 2021 WC and amazingly PAK won that year by 10 wickets but couldn't win the tournament although great bounty was declared for that too.

agree about Hasan but do not think you can drop Babar & Rizzu - 2 fave's of my friend @Rana unless you got guns like Abhi Sharma hiding somewhere out there ! RAUF- kya bolu , he needs to learn some common sense & a coaching stint at MRF Pace academy imo !

The only time the blank cheque policy worked for Pakistan so is 100,000 $ offer worth it? Or there should be consequences too for failure.

The Announcement

"One strong investor told me that a blank cheque is ready for the PCB if Pakistan beats India in the upcoming T20 World Cup,” Ramiz Raja

Pcb can give a blanck check for 500k- still doesn't matter as they know pak team is not winning the t20wc. All the SC teams ind pak sl have useless t20 teams and deserve to be knocked out early

If they are being gifted at their victory, their should also be a punishment if they lose. Why there are no consequences for the poor performances?

Pak are clueless and would be overjoyed to make it to the semifinals. All this Babar influence and friendship is sinking the ship. Any coach has a hapless task. Hassan Ali anyone? Are you serious!?

Something along the lines of free makeover from a high standard saloon along with a photoshoot could work and throw in a tiktok or facebook boost on a post of choice. No need to spend too much money

Mohsin Naqvi after observing great improvement in PCT performance after his 100,000$ announcement 🤣

That is the reason why Mohsin Naqvi announced that massive amount; he knew what our boys are capable of, so money will remain safe lol. :ROFLMAO:

Players aren't motivated by money when they play for their country. The chance of glory and writing their name in the annals of their nations cricketing history is a much bigger incentive.
