Rohit as opener in tests will be a disaster.

Probably going to pick Roy he might put opposition on back foot once a blue moon.

Finch for me if I have to choose between these. Finch is fighter - he will score something unlike other two.

All are terrible against the moving ball. Finch was exposed by ishant and Roy has been thoroughly worked over here.

Three of them might make a good panel for mid session breaks commentary and analyses.

That is the only thing they may do well in Tests

India should back Rohit in test. He is too good a player not to come good in due course of time.

Rohit is a gone case. He can't play moving ball. Also lacks tight defense. But when you look at his timing, shot execution you would think he would become a great test batsman. But that is not enough to be a successful test batsman.

Rohit has failed even after batting in position. The other two are victims of being forced to open even when they don't open in domestic cricket. That being said, atleast Rohit and Finch can "leave" the ball as opposed to Roy who has hit some astonishingly dumb shots to get out.

Jason Roy's batting in tests is not even funny to watch, it's just painful.
