Actions of Israeli forces in the occupied territories

Do you really think you will beat them with your army, tanks, rockets and bullets?

Who takes their kid to a protest where shots have been fired? Are they trying to make a matyr of the toddler?

Don't judge people based on what you see and stop talking about morality from the comfort of your bedroom far away from the place called Palestine. They were put in this situation and if a mother is doing this than she surely she has her reasons. Your and my words can never match the love of a mother for her kids (for her kids safety always comes first) and she isn't the only one standing their with kids other kids and their mothers, fathers, brother and sisters are standing there too. Nobody loves to stand in front of bullets with their kids and family

And yet in this thread you will judge the other side for firing bullets. If you are going to take a higher moral ground atleast be consistent.

I can understand your mindset you can't come up with anything in favor of Palestinians because your beloved India is doing same in Kashmir so that will make you look hypocrite so the best thing to do is blame the protesters in Kashmir and Palestine

Heard this first in the Sharjah Expo when I was a student. We were quite an idealistic and optimistic bunch back then.

Btw the song is 7lm al 3arabi. (The Arab Dream), Palestine had much more vocal support at the time as the Gulf states, their people and leaders were still old school with access to new money, although there are artists from Sudan, Lebanon, UAE, Egypt etc, basically any country that spoke Arabic.

That’s the best you can come up with? How difficult is it condemn the actions of individual Palestinians?

There is no Ummah in reality. Just a five letter word that even most Muslim's today are laughing at:rabada From Muslim countries I only care for and love Pakistan, there you go I said it! Every now and again I may respect countries that support and stand by us like Turkey. Wake me up when this Ummah becomes a reality, when an attack on one Muslim city is looked upon as an attack on another in a different country. Until then I'll continue living in the real world. Only idiots like Zaid Hamid who was humiliated on the subject by Hasan Nisar some years back worry about Palestine and Iraq.

They have already lost! Lost their land, any real development, international support, respect, support, peace.....they have lost it all!

All they are fighting for now is survival.

Have you confirmed those numbers? USA has a habit of mixing compensation with aid. Are you sure these numbers havent done so?

Next time Palestinian protesters are being indiscriminately butchered by Israeli snipers I’m sure they will take a lot of comfort over what some celebrity has said on Twitter.

What’s going on in Gaza and the surrounding area is shocking and highly condemnable but it’s laughable to think that the “tide is turning”. If anything the Israelis are upping the ante because not only do they have the very public support of America but they now have the tacit support of the regimes in Saudi Arabia and the UAE too.

Every bit of support esp from well known people is important as it raises awareness when the media tend to keep quiet unless dozens are killed.

Israel, America and Saudi is an alliance of religious extremists, Jewish, Christian and Muslim. You are correct things arent getting better but at the same time the support for the Palestinians is still strong amongst many nations and people.

What does Ummah have to do with innocent people being mowed down just for asking for their rights? Any human with half a brain cell would be condemning Israel for killing innocent protesters.

I am sure you are also a keybored warrior as daft as a brush who seems frustrated for some reason. It has everything to do with your Muslim Ummah who is supposedly like one family. Had that been the case Israel would never be messing with Palestinians. Welcome to reality, would be nice if your Arab siblings including Palestinians had ever supported Kashmiris.

Have you not heard of Al-Aqsa?

You're signature says defender of Islam. If this is correct why aren't you defending the third most holy site in Islam , where the Prophet(pbuh) assended to heaven and where Muslims used to turn to when praying?

Defend it all you want, but ask yourself where does Kashmir figure in the ranking, and why no Arabs have come forward to provide material support to that cause?

You'll then realize you're being swindled in what is a one-way street.

Anyone who isnt dead ignorant, has basic knowledge of politics and a little knowledge of history wouldn't expect the Arab leaders to do anything. The Arab leaders, the Al-Saud were installed by the British after the fall of the Ottoman Empire and are partners of the western nations and Israel to this day. Then why would anyone with half a brain expect anything from them? They are helping the Zionist regime to grow and maintain. The extremist Jews want to build their 3rd Temple where the Al-Aqsa masjid is. The only reason they haven't yet, is because the Muslim world would rise up so stronly such Arab colonised regimes would fall and wars of a the highest magintude would be the result. So Israel is using the old method of slowly destroying all the nations around it and when it knows the Muslims is all in flames, it can then move foward with it's ultimate goal.

The irony is the world thinks it's the Muslims who are mainly religous extremists but they are so stupid not to realise it's the Zionist Jews and Zionist Christiains who are doing everyhing in the world today, because they are extremists who want to speed up the end of times.

Youre an intelligent person, please look into this in depth with an open mind ,it's all very clear what is going on.

You have misunderstood my post - I was not referring to Arab "leaders", I was talking about regular Arab people - Palestinian or otherwise. My point is simple: why do you always flare up to defend these Arab lands online and offline when the reverse is never true? Does the average Egyptian or Kuwaiti care about the plight of Kashmiris? That neither the Palestinian problem or the Kashmiri problem is never solved is another debate - but I'm just pointing out the dichotomy in public reactions to both issues.

You say that the Muslim world would rise up against Israel if they decide to build a temple - why not rise up against India who have colonized Kashmir here and now?

You are 100 percent right in your observation.

But the difference is, Jerusalem is a sacred land for muslims, kashmir is not.

That is why only Pakistanis care about Kashmir but most muslims care about the Palestinian cause.

Not really anything to do with race or ethnicity it has to due with religious sentiments.

But no one in Pakistan cares about Saudis war in Yemen. Pakistan doesnt care about Arab fights that dont concern religious sentiments.

The middle east/Arab nations are in flames, the ordinary people in Syria, Iraq, Libya, Egpyt, Yemen, Lebanon are all trying to simply surive atm. Other nations such as UAE, Saudi, Oman etc have puppet rulers who have so much wealth they have bought off their populations. We also have to realise what happens in Kashmir isn't reported as much, India doesn't allow journalists and even human rights organistaions to openly report.

This sentence is loose at best. Are you alleging that the populations of the oil-rich Gulf states would fight tooth and nail against the Indian occupation of Kashmir, but were bought off (presumably by India!?) via their puppet rulers?

Rather, their populations are largely bumbling idiots who got rich yesterday and don't care about world issues one way or the other.

They are bought off by their own dictators or kings. Arabs living in the UAE, Saudi or Oman will never starve, they are treated better than any citizen in Europe, India or America in terms of financial security. People wont uprise when they are living a comfortable life.

Coz Pak army at this point is in no position to further spread it's wings. You want us to send our soldiers to Palestine whilst India and America invade Pakistan? What about Al-Aqsa? Why do the Turks, Malaysians, Indonesians etc never worry about liberating the holy sites? Defending Islam does not been being plain illogical. If Arab's help us liberate Kashmir only then should we get involved in their affairs.

No one is stopping Muslim people as individuals from going to Palestine and liberating the holy sites. Within a week they will realise no Muslim military or government supports them. If they do return home there previous home and job will be no where to be seen. No one is stopping these Zaid Hamid type from fighting the Israeli Zionists so I wonder why they are not going to liberate the Holy land. Al-Aqsa who our Prophet(saw) gave the highest regard to can only be liberated if Muslim's first liberate themselves. Let there be no borders between Muslim countries then form a massive Muslim army, Palestine even Kashmir will be liberated.

I never suggested sending any army in. You cannot answer by saying what about others, it's what you do which should matter to you.

I refer you to the words of the Prophet(pbuh)

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, “Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]

The least a person of faith can do is condemn these actions in his/her heart but we should all be able to speak out against it. Even Non-Muslims who no have relevance to the holy land, athiets speak out against the injustice in Palestine because it's a matter of humanity. Those who cannot speak out against injustice esp in the case of the Palestinians lose the moral right to mention any other injustice.

Of course we speak against it. Pakistanis speak against it more then most Muslim countries including Arab ones. Why do other Muslim's especially Arab's never condemn the actions inflicted upon the Kashmiri people? What happens is that when the other side does not care about you then sooner or later the compassion on the other side will stop as well. Arab's don't want to upset India where they have major business interests.

" You cannot answer by saying what about others, it's what you do which should matter to you." You are free to go to Palestine and fight for them or start some movement as if there are not many already, no one is stopping you. No where does it say that refusing to fight for the Arab's means some sort of punishment. I am not going to help and ungrateful often racist people who do not care about mines.

In your first post in this thread...you wrote

" I do not care about Palestine at all"

There are already many movements out there which support Palestinians, so theres no need for me to start one.

I would advise you change your signature, as you are no defender of Islam otherwise you would care about the Palestinians as they are the custodians of the Al-Aqsa.

I don't think you know the difference between Islam the faith and Arab's. I only care about the people who do so about Pakistan. Either you go to Palestine and help them. What is your point regarding my comments where I distance myself from Arab problems? Israel is strong where as the combined Arab's are nothing. No one cares about them.

Al-Aqsa is a masjid, it's not a faith or people. Its the third holiest site in Islam. You dont care about the Palestinians(the custodians) or the masjid yet you call your self a defender of Islam. lol

The Prime Minister appeared to be following Donald Trump as she discussed the possible move with Yair Lapid during a meeting at the United Nations summit in New York on Wednesday.

Britain has long maintained its Israel embassy in Tel Aviv despite Israel designating Jerusalem as its capital.

Mr Trump, when US president, sparked controversy by moving the US embassy to Jerusalem in 2017.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said Ms Truss informed Mr Lapid "about her review of the current location of the British Embassy in Israel".

Then the Foreign Secretary, she made the pledge during the Tory leadership contest in a letter to the Conservative Friends of Israel.

Arab ambassadors in London are urging Liz Truss not to go ahead with “an illegal and ill-judged” plan to move the British embassy to Jerusalem.

Some Arab diplomats have even said the plan could jeopardise talks on a highly prized free trade deal between the UK and the Gulf Cooperation Council due to be completed this year.

A private letter was sent before Truss’s trip to the UN in New York, where she confirmed the review, but after the state funeral of Queen.

EU allies have told the UK they think the move is unwise and are privately speculating that Truss took the initiative not just due to her close ties with Israel but out of her desire to be noticed as a disruptive force.

It was expected that a predictable group of pro-Palestinian countries represented in London would object to the proposed embassy move, but the letter sent by the diplomats has the endorsement of all of the Arab countries, including those that support the Abraham accords signed in September 2020. The accords are designed to lead to a general warming of ties with Israel for its signatories, including Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.

It is understood that some of the Arab states most inclined to the Abraham accords are most disturbed by the move since they fear the accords will be damaged by the claim they opened the way to it.

However, making a future trade deal contingent on retaining the UK embassy in Tel Aviv may prove a step too far for some more pragmatic Gulf state capitals. It remains to be seen how vocal they will make their objections.

In the Tory leadership campaign, Truss announced in a letter to Conservative Friends of Israel that she would open a review of the location of the UK embassy, something she had not done as foreign secretary. She highlighted last week that she was instituting that review in a readout of a bilateral meeting in New York with the Israeli prime minister, Yair Lapid. No details of how the review is being conducted inside the Foreign Office have been made public.

One former British diplomat described Truss as a “pound-shop Trump”, a reference to the decision by the US administration under Donald Trump to make the same move in 2018. He said: “She seems to think she should ape Donald Trump. The difference is that the US is big enough to get its way in the Middle East. The UK is not. If the UK shifted its embassy it would have a domino effect amongst some countries in the European Union, such as Hungary, but probably not, and will damage British interest in the Arab world.”

Only four other countries have moved their embassy to Jerusalem.

Husam Zomlot, the Palestinian ambassador in London, said: “Any embassy move would be a blatant violation of international law and the UK’s historic responsibilities. It undermines the two-state solution and inflames an already volatile situation in Jerusalem, the rest of the occupied territories, and among communities in the UK and worldwide. It would be disastrous.”

Palestinian deaths toll in West Bank hits 100 this year

At least 100 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem this year amid a massive increase in Israeli military raids.

The number was reached as an 18-year-old man was shot dead in East Jerusalem on Saturday and after a week which saw Israeli forces reportedly firing an anti-tank missile at a house in Jenin that killed a wanted gunman and three others.

It means this year is now on course to become the deadliest for Palestinians in the West Bank since 2015.

The vast majority were shot dead by Israeli security forces and several by armed Israeli civilians.

Another proof of why Western leaders do not care for anyone but their masters.

Truss wants the British embassy in the holy city of Jerusalem knowing full well this will cause more trouble.

Im sure in the UK there will be huge protests against this but these evil leaders do not care.

Palestinians have a right to self defence and this imo means they have a right to defend themselves and will continue to do so.

Israelis and Hamas must go to an open field and fight there. Shooting from poor people's shoulders is cowardly and dastardly way to fight.

Jewish state terrorism is the aggressor.

Sure give the Palestinians the same weapons, let them have a fair fight in the open. Jewish terrorists will be ripped apart, these cowards can only fight if the power is heavily balanced in their favour.

Well, they should. If they do not have the weapons like Israel, then they should stop firing rockets from residential areas. At least they should be man enough to fight like men in a secluded area. Why put innocent Palestinians in harms way?

Who am I to give them weapons? Arabs and other Muslim countries should help them with weapons.

May God give lands back to native Palestinians.

May God destroy the Zionist dogs and give them humiliating defeat.

Cowardly Zionists. Always targeting innocent civilians.

You are beating a dead horse. The Israelis will steal the land. In the end Palestinians will be landless people living in Jordan and Lebanon

1967, Six-Day War.

The 1967 war was the one where the IAF destroyed the Egyptian and Syrian air forces on the ground and then the army grabbed loads more land.

I think you are referring to the 1973 war started by Egypt and Syria, the one with the SAM umbrella, which Israel won anyway after initial setbacks.

Truss is a not very bright ideologue. She speaks in sound bites and has little depth of thought. It’s appalling that she would want to move the embassy to Jerusalem like Trump did. She’ll fall soon anyway. No PM can survive those opinion polls for long.

Not suprised an you would think like this

Birds of a feather The zionists dont need an excuse to target civilians just like another army i know

They do it for fun They are damned bunch and cruel tyrants like them will have their reckoning one day one way or another

I think it shows again, why UK is not democracy, nobody here wants her to be leader yet she is. A big reform is needed.

Arab nations have already warned the UK they hurt trade deals if this goes ahead. UK is already in the dumps, this will only make the situation here worse.

By 2030 UK could end up being a nation with little to no influence not to mention broke as hell.

We vote for our local MP, not for party leaders.

Truss will be gone in two years tops, less if the Tories stay 33 points behind in the polls.

We lost a big chunk of influence with Brexit, and now Truss is throwing away any credit with the Arab League.

Exactly, leaders have the most influence on a nation so only the public should decide. If one is removed a new GE should take place.

It doesnt matter if Truss goes, Keir is as worse.

Its a slow process but the world is moving away from the west. It cant be trusted at all, the history is full of bloodshed and control. BRICS are in the process of developing a new global reserve currency, when this comes in , its all over for the west. This move by Truss is only helping them.

Concur on your first point but it will never happen until UK becomes a republic with elected head of state,

I wouldn’t say “all over”. There will be rival blocs. NAFTA, EU, Pacific Rim democracies, BRICS. But the latter will become dominated by China. In fifty years Russia will have no leverage as fossil fuels go out of use and may fall apart into its constituent states under Chinese sway.

50 years is too far away Robert, we wont be here, well I hope not lol.

I think its time for the world to cooperate in all areas, we need each other. The biggest problem is Israel, its supporters have immense power, their aim is to make Jerusalem as the capital of the world, Israel to be the worlds only superpower, they are hell bent on dividing others. Take away Israel, the world will be a safer, fairer and a more prosperous place.

Israeli soldiers kill Palestinian, wound two journalists

A Palestinian man was shot dead and at least two others were injured in the town of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus.

A Palestinian man has been shot dead and at least two others have been injured by Israeli forces in the town of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said.

Alaa Zaghal, 21, “died of a bullet wound to the head fired by the occupation [Israeli] army,” a statement on Wednesday read.

At least six other Palestinians, including two journalists, were wounded by Israeli fire, medics at the scene said.

The Israeli army confirmed it was conducting a military operation in the village of Deir al-Hatab.

Local residents said the army had surrounded a house inside the village, killing Zaghal and shooting at a local media crew that was covering the incident.

Two journalists from Palestine TV were shot by Israeli soldiers, one in the hand and another in the shoulder, pictures released by the television station showed.

Mahmoud Fawzy and Loai Samhan were seen bleeding and being taken away by ambulance to a nearby hospital.

The violence was the latest to hit the north of the Israeli-occupied West Bank, an area that has seen near-daily raids, many of them deadly, by Israeli troops since March.

Nablus has increasingly become a target for Israeli operations following the emergence of a new armed faction, a loose coalition of Palestinian fighters called the Lions’ Den.

The arrest of one of the group’s members by Palestinian Authority security forces last month sparked clashes in the city between security forces and local gunmen, killing one.

On Monday, Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah.

The Israeli military said soldiers went into the camp to apprehend an individual suspected of “terror activity”.

During Monday’s operation, “two suspects attempted to carry out a ramming attack against IDF soldiers. The soldiers responded with fire and neutralised the two suspects”, said the Israeli military.

The account was disputed by a spokesman for Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who said the troops had carried out an “execution”.

“Such a reckless policy will not bring security or stability for anyone,” said the spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh.

The bodies of the two men were taken away by Israeli forces.

This policy of holding the bodies of alleged Palestinian attackers denies families from burying their loved ones, rights groups say.

Ramy Abdu, the founder of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, said Israel’s withholding the bodies of Palestinians is an act of collective violence that is considered a war crime.

“Articles in the Geneva Conventions assure the necessity of burying the bodies of deceased detainees or those who were killed with respect according to procedures that are appropriate with their religious culture,” he told Al Jazeera.

How would they make Jerusalem the world capital? What do they gain?

This is in reference to the ultimate Zionist fantasy. There is a prophecy in Zionism which (loosely) suggests that when all of God’s chosen people have returned to the Promised Land, built the next Temple and reclaimed & restored Jerusalem, that the Messianic Age eventually leading to the End Times will begin. The fulfilment of this prophecy is what the most hardcore Zionists (many of them not Jews) are working to achieve.

Israel’s power comes from their influence over American Bible Belt pastors. I watched some American Gospel telly. These are fundamentalist people who believe the Book of Revelation word for word. They really do think Christ will return to Israel and rule. Sadly, no Congressman, Governor, Senator or POTUS can ignore this voting constituency.

That's a minor influence. It's the media and financial institutions in US that are the main reason for Israel's influence. It's an established fact by now. Not sure what the end game of Palestinians is but expecting Israelis to move away is a ridiculous notion. Move where? It's occupied and it's done. Israel propped up ISIS to destroy neighboring Syria. The relations between UAE, Saudi and Israel are at its peak. Time for Palestinians to accept the reality and move to Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon or even Syria and start their lives. Maybe a certain amount of money per family would help. No, I won't be imagining how I will feel if I'm kicked out my homeland because I don't want to live a life with despair, destitution, hopelessness and ridiculous chauvinism.

As much as it hurts to say it , the israel and Palestinian story is over. It’s like beating a dead horse. Israel will take all the land from Palestine in decades to come.

Theology.

Islamic theology says Antichrist will be killed by Jesus (PBUH) at the gate of Ludd (which is located at modern day Israel).

Before that happens, Dajjal/Antichrist is supposed to dominate most of the world for a brief period.

Not good enough. Muslims around the world will wage the war against Israel remotely from the comfort of their couches until the last Palestinian sheds his or her life. That's the Ummah's will
