Adnan Akmal | Performance Watch

Hes had a very lean time with the bat so may get dropped sometime soon, just hope its not for another amateur like sarfaraz
 
I don't think they will drop any of the akmals . They have too many connections in Pakistan.

Only hope is rizwan but I'm afraid he won't be selected for another 7 years or so. Our captain is useless if he can't see this .
 
Maybe pakistan will see sense and select a new keeper like Rizwan
 
The corrupt never make logical or rational decisions. I mean just look at his batting stats for last 2 years . Averages something like 15. And despite all the dropped catches and making us loose matches, (AB devilliers dropped catch) he is picked again and again . Why selectors ????

He provides good comedy and keeps everyone amused and happy.
 
Fails with the bat again he isn't doing much with the bat off late.
 
Why is he being targeted? Why don't you talk about Asad Shafiq who has been failing so much in every test?

He have some personal liking and disliking.

Target few ones and silent for others and problem solve.

That's funny, I thought he got a 100 in his last test?

There's a reason Adnan is being targeted. It's simple, his test record is not good enough and there's better keeper/batsman in Pakistan.
 
on what basis was he selected in Pakistan team? neither he has any good FC or List A average nor he is xtraordinary keeper.
so their can be 3 reasons
1) he is gutsy and can bat with one hand in extreme situation
2) he comes from family of Akmal
3) he has his own connections with "bhai log "

The only better option than Adnan is Kamran.

He's not being targeted. We are just highlighting how terrible he is as a cricketer. Why shall we talk about shafiq, if you want to go and discuss him somewhere else.

Oh and by the way he just scored a test century in South Africa earlier last year . Akmal has never made a test Century , even against Bangladesh or zimbabwae . In fact he hardly scores more than 15 each innings. Plus he's a drop machine with the gloves

Brothers it's gives me no pleasure to say this, but I think adnan will fail in all his next 5 innings , and will then be picked again for next series. He will drop crucial catches too. But he will still be picked for next series regardless of performance. That just stinks.

My question is why does Misbah keep picking him again and again. He has a massive blame fir this very poor cricketer being picked again and again.
 
Muhammad Rizwan is the one and last hope for Pakistan.


Adnan is good for nothing, should be dropped after this series
 
Umar akmal made a statement that he will score the fastest ODI century in next series.

How long before (maybe a week) before adnan comes up with the statement that he will break brain Lara's test batting record of 400 not out???

Yeah that's true. They only play for financial motivation . They don't care a long as one of them is I the team. Waqar younis said that's what akmals farther told him . This is what Waqar said on live commentary

It might be, but all 3 will never play at the same time. They are all competing for one spot . Lol

Adnan Akmal is pushing for test return.

Since getting dropped he has averaged 45 plus with the bat scoring 5-6 Fc hundreds.


Before making test debut he had FC average of 20 odd but his batting has improved massively post Test debut.


Sarfraz is struggling with the bat in test Cricket atm. Adnan needs to be named in Test Squad of 16-17 membered squad.


Present Adnan is better than present Rizwan and present Sarfraz both as keeper n batsman.

Deserved selection over Rizwan based on his last 4-5 Fc seasons performance with Bat and gloves.

Rizwan is Mr.Fitness with No substance.
 
Adnan Akmal is the least talented member of his family and one of the worst wicketkeepers to ever play for Pakistan. I think I'm ok with him being overlooked!
 
Time to move on from this guy. Him and his family have a history of making themselves unavailable in difficult situations.
 
No thanks on Adnan Akmal. He's not that great of a batman and he was dropped for his weak wicketkeeping.

Quality knock against strong Peshawar pace attack of Altaf Ahmed and Taj Wali.


There is a reason that post getting dropped from Test Squad he has scored runs @45 per innings with 7 FC hundreds all coming after being dropped from Test squad.


Still very fit and much better back up keeper option than Mr.fitness with no batting substance M Rizwan and still we are relying on his Post 2016 FC List A numbers which are history.

The right-handed wicketkeeper-batter represented Pakistan in 26 matches. He scored 653 runs and made 80 dismissals across Tests and ODIs for Pakistan.
