Been listening to some of his songs on YouTube recently and my word, what a singer, sun zara, lucky lips are classics.

What's even more inspiring is his weight loss, just found out how much he lost, could inspire anyone, anything is possible!

Indians who have recently discovered him should dig up his old solo albums, songs like "Kahan bus gaye hoo", "Ae Khuda" and album for the movie "Sargam". The songs mentioned above are pure trash compared to those albums. Very talented but troubled person.

His song with Amitabh Bachan called Kabhi Nahi was very popular during my matric days. He had songs that had good beats alongwith humour. No pop singer had done that before him

That Lift karade remix was also something special those days filled with classic bollywood dialogues.

Hes up there as one of the best Pakistani singers for me, atif, nusrat, zafar then sami. Great vocals.

Adnan is acknowledged more as a "pop"artist here than purely as a singer. That's what made him famous in India anyway.

He was acknowledged in Pakistan more as a musician, known for creating fusion pieces of classical sub-continental music and jazz. Also, as a gifted keyboard player and a composer.
