As Adnan Sami announced the uninstalling of the app, Snapchat on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, he received flak on the social media from his former nation, Pakistan.
With so much being said and done over Snapchat CEO’s insensitive comments, we wonder what happens next! In the meantime, Pakistan trollers got a befitting reply from Adnan Sami. We wonder if Snapchat even considers Pakistan for expansion? We highly doubt so!

The long festive weekend in India got its biggest viral moment spiked with an ample dose of patriotism with the Snapchat drama. For the ones who had been hibernating, partying, rejuvenating and MIA from all that spiraled down for Snapchat. For starters, Snapchat which is an image messaging and multimedia mobile application created by Evan Spiegel, Bobby Murphy, and Reggie Brown invoked the ire of its Indian users as the CEO Evan Spiegel allegedly called India a “poor country” and its use fit for the usage of “rich people”. Well, with hashtags such as #BoycottSnapchat and #Uninstall-Snapchat trending and many users resorting to the downgrading of the app on Google’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store, a slew of celebrity users in India too supported the boycott. Jumping aboard the boycotting bandwagon is the singer, Adnan Sami. Adnan Sami who was granted the Indian citizenship last year had similarly face flak when he had supported India for the surgical strikes carried out in Pakistan. As the Snapchat issues keep getting bigger by the moment, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel’s disparaging comments were made in 2015 while dismissing an employee’s concern over the slow growth in India and Spain, citing the app’s usage restricted to only the rich and that Snapchat does not want to expand in these poor countries. Adnan Sami who joined the slew of celebrities who uninstalled the app was severely trolled by the Pakistanis who clearly haven’t forgiven Adnan Sami for his choice of Indian citizenship. Here’s how it boiled down for Adnan Sami.
Adnan Sami extolled India as a progressive democracy!
