Hello,
I am planning to take a quick trip to the UAE to watch the Asia cup and needed some advice. This will be the first time I will be watching a match live so I want it to be a good experience with (hopefully) a good crowd and not an empty stadium.
I am planning to stay with a friend in Abu Dhabi so the easiest option for me would be to watch one of the matches there. Alternatively, I can go to Dubai if the crowd/environment is better but I will have to spend extra on staying in a hotel. I have been told that it is easy to take a bus from Abu Dhabi to Dubai but I assume it would be too hectic to do that without an overnight stay? I have visited Dubai once before and so am not interested in any tourist spots in the city other than the match. Also, whether I go to Abu Dhabi or Dubai, I will be relying on taxis/public transport for going to the stadium.
So for people with experience of living in the UAE, which city do you think would be better to watch the match in terms of crowd/environment and accessibility of the stadium by public transport?
Thanks
