He's done nothing to be rated highly.

Only Rizwan haters see him as a replacement
 
If Pakistan lose the final, there will be a lot of internal and external pressure to bring back Babar, Rizwan and also Shadab.

Rizwan is far far better wicket keeper and better batsman than Haris. He have neither power nor technique to succeed at this level..he hardly played a single ball with bat

If Afghanistan bats first that may very well happen. They have bosltered spin attack now. They left out Noor from first match for bizzarre reason. Afghanistan would not have chased that many.

Haris did well in patches. But, he has been inconsistent.

Apart from the great debut innings against South Africa (World T20) and century against Bangladesh, he hasn't done much.

He is poor against spin specially on tracks like this. Can be dangerous against pace.
 
I repeat myself for the umpteenth time.

Pakistan cricket is nothing without in form Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen in white ball cricket.

They have been at the heart of 90% of the white ball matches Pakistan have won in the last 5 years.

When they play well, Pakistan are a formidable side. When they don’t play well or are not in the team, Pakistan are weak.

The job of a coaching staff is to get the best out of these three players. You cannot hide from the reality.

These agendas will not work with these crap players and the sooner Hesson sees this, the better. Otherwise, he will die on this hill.

@mominsaigol this is exactly my frustration with M Haris. Whilst I know he could be more useful up the order, but he puts a zero price tag on his wicket.

Beggars are not the choosers. With players like Farhan Fakhar Haris etc as their replacements none of the two needed to be dropped.

But they must not try and make a comeback, no use in being part of a corrupt rotten system like ours.

I think those two should take retirement from international cricket and earn money in leagues around the world.
 
Seems like Pakistan loaded their side with 7 or 8 leg side hacks. Even test batsman like Salman Ali Agha seems like copying SKY. This was unravelled by Bangladesh pace unit in Bangladesh, now spin unit by Afghanistan. They need atleast a couple of proper batsman in the middle. This trying to copy England, Australia, NZ strategy of "keep going harder" doesn't suit pakistan batsmen who don't have either range hitting technique or conventional stroke play. They have to go back to their old strategy of putting together a gun bowling unit and restricting teams.
 
Look at Afghan bowling line up . 🔥. Why Pakistan bowling looks third class in front of them ?

It has been nothing with Rizwan Babar too . Either way Pakistan is crap .

You have become emotional for some rational reasons.

Both Babar and Rizwan are quality players no doubt. Babar has been out of form ,he has been dropped with a reason. He should go back to domestic and work on his issues.

I don't know why Rizwan was dropped and why he has always been uttered in the same bracket with Babar!!

Both are individual players and should be mentioned individually

Agree on the criminal bit. The whole country is run by criminals anyway.

But lets be honest. The current Afghanistan squad is capable to win a world cup in Sharjah conditions.
 
Since Saim is bowling well, we don't need the expertise of Nawaz or Faheem. Get Khushdil and Talat instead.

England, Australia and New Zealand are not chasing down this total aswell against this Afghan bowling attack.

Pakistan might not have the players right now, but our batting with Babar and Rizwan was going nowhere.

I didn't say you bring them back. But atleast pick proper batsman. INtent with no skill won't get you anywhere. Are there no other batsmen who can strike the ball without hacking. Buttler hardly looks like slogging. All clean ball striking.
 
Finally a six against Rashid. These wrist spinners are always vulnerable against slog sweep.

We wouldn’t be struggling if we had a batsman of the calibre of Buttler. Buttler has failed spectacularly against these same bowlers in two high stakes game aswell if you remember.

Hacks are required in modern day cricket and we have to set a template.

yes 140 was max Pakistan needed to concede on this track against Afg Spinners and Pak was on track before tapiya bowled somw farts

Agree babar Rizwan would also fail against this bowling line up . But at same time you don’t need tullay baaz for sake of modern day cricket . The way sahibzada , Hassan and Haris were playing spin was embarrassing

Dubai, Abu Dhabi pitch will be more spin friendly with bigger boundary size , You can't play slogging cricket against quality spinners on such pitches.

Pakistan is going to play World T20 on Lankan pitches which also assists more for spinners.

You need quality batter to counter the quality spinners on sluggish surface .

Btw Pakistan bowling is also need to take the blame as well.

We gave RizBar five world tournaments, let’s give these guys atleast one?

Bowling attack has gone to the dogs though. Need to improve
