It also underlines what a crappy bowling unit England has. On the same ground Pak made over 360 against England.

No point in talking sense here, these guys have made their minds up already. Wahab was bit unlucky with the first two boundaries, could easily have got wickets with both of them, then the final six was picked up off a good length.

Shaheen, Amir and Wahab should be put up against a wall and chittar'd all over the place. They couldn't get this fat slob out, who only has a hoik across the line as his go-to shot.

We are in deep trouble in this WC if this continues.
 
Its just a warm up game. But really disappointed with Shaheen for his bowling and Sarfaraz for his reactive approach rather than pro active in decision making
 
This guy is such a great asset in tricky chases. Just boom boom asking rate is well within control. Any normal team can win from here.

Shadab, in my opinion, has always been the missing piece of the jigsaw.
I hope he proves me right.

The final jigsaw puzzle has been altered with the selection of Wahab, should never have been selected...

Zazai is like Fakhar. A solid opener who can give a rollicking start in the first 10 overs.
 
Wish we had one more Proper spinner... would be an interesting team combo .. but Mickey and his plans :jk

Quite possibly the biggest hack I have seen play cricket recently. Makes Munro look like a technical genius.

Pakistani bowlers will make anyone look good nowadays.
 
Finally a wicket! I should have prayed for Pakistan at Jumma, didn't think they would need a dua against Afghanistan.

Too much pressure on young Shadab's shoulders, it's safe to say we expect him to take 99% of wickets in this tournament, thank you sarfraz, inzi and mickey mouse

No. I blame all of them and do not go out my way to defend people who originate from my area. Wahab is crap, what more can I say? Safraz captaincy, fitness and batting are all below average. I cant wait when we get rid of this useless uncle jee.

Well played although he missed his half century but he damaged Pakistan early on.
 
Sarfraz Had already seen spin playing crucial role Why didn't he open the bowling with imad wasim .
And Hassan Ali .
Bowling 145 at Flat Track isn't gonna help
 
How we have missed Shadab... wonderful player.. he is the type of all rounder we need but not who we deserve..

I don't think PAK can afford both Shaheen & Hasnain in squad - it's romantic, but I would have loved to see these romanticism against ZIM reserves rather than in WC, but obviously Ul Haq knows much better.
 
We had no proper spinner against Aus, Eng and even here on this dry surface we have one. What can I say :jk

We don’t have bowlers for the English conditions. I think we will win one or two matches. Maybe against Srilanka. We had two good world cups so our mandatory humiliation is coming

Just a random thought: we are under so much burden of our fast bowling legacy that we don't even realise pacers are the biggest liability in modern day cricket. I'd rather have Umar Khan, Zafar Gohar, Shahdab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz (i know its unfortunate that our choices are limited) and an odd pacer to ball out 50 overs.
 
this is the time to choke them with spin in both ends 5-6 overs of choking

Considering how pacers have been and prediction of pitches are, they should have replaced hasnain with Zafar or another specialist spinner. But the hatred for spin by Mickey and Inzi is too much to make any rational decision making when it comes to spin bowling.
 
Shockingly shockingly horrendous team. Doesn’t Micky do his legendary homework with these pathetic excuse of players.

How the afghan spinners were going to bowl read em of there hand etc.. where to bowl to these afghan hacks. Seems like they just go onto the park & hope for the best!!

We didnt use 2 proper spinners against SL and lost the test series, What did we learn after that?? nothing. No hope I am hearing Mickey's time is up.... hopefully its not rumors..

May be in this game, but it'll cost you in WC. After Babar, the most important player for PAK is Amir - unless he makes use of the new ball, PAK's spin attack isn't going to bring back the game from 100/1 after 15 overs and by the time it starts reversing, most teams will reach 201-2 .....

That series was enough in my opinion to fire Mickey and Inzi as that poor decision making had a big role in the result.

Some people are living on lifeline due to CT17 win and then WC 19 being near.

Clarke said the most resonable thing ever. All teams were experimenting last year and tried to figure out their best team. Pakistan did it two months before. Just shows the competence of chachu Inzi and Mickey Uncle.

This one has to go against Inzi, to be honest - can't give a squad like this bowling combination. And, Arthur didn't fix his reserves - still PAK is carrying JK, Faheem in reserves!!!!!!!! The real damage was done when they blew 6-7 games behind Yasir .............

Absolutely senseless selection to have focused so much on pace considering Pakistan has no real quality in that dept.
 
Pakistan is lucky they got a sighter of Afg in warmup.
They will be ready for them in WC
 
Really need a full revamp to our domestic structure, need to kick out all these useless coaches and selector, bars on leeches like Miandad, Sarfraz N A Sohail Latif, Moin....Otherwise there is no hope for sure.
 
These two are important wickets especially Rehmat as they both are grinders who target to take the game to the end
 
What have I missed? Wasim in the commentary box reading the scorecard while Wahab is getting smashed all over.
 
I rate Wahab for his fitness and hard work. If all players had the same mindset as Wahab, we would be far ahead.
 
Hafeez is such a valuable bowler.... remember when Shaheen and Wahab were getting a phainti he was brought on and runs flow stopped.
 
Wasim Akram: I thought Faheem Ashraf could become the top all rounder of the world . .

I think my regard for Wasim Akram's eye for talent today has officially gone down to 0!

Yes trying to create an LOI spinner out of Yasir who averages even 34 in List A was definitely poor job.
 
Man wahab is bad luck for the team his fielding isn’t gonna win us matches we need his bowling I know everyone is getting smacked but he’s the quickest bowler it flies off his bowling with wings on it

Yes I’ve seen one match Pak vs BD, when the match was finished Wahab was the first player doing drills and practising. He is a dedicated player, I think it was the match where Pakistan chased 300 + scores

Are they really pacey? Remember, Wahab wasn't picked at first go even as back-up and probably Inzi doen't even know that the fastest bowler of PSL was Rauf (I am sure his average speed was faster) - Rauf Kaun ?

Some fans cried Misbah was killing our fast bowling legacy when he had 30 overs of spin in ODIs but spinners have been our biggest matchwinners in this decade. If it wasn't for Saeed Ajmal we wouldn't have beaten SAF in 2013 which's the last time we've beaten a top 5 ODI side !

When our pace bowling stocks are low, we need to get over ourselves and use the spinners. On these flat tracks you must take pace off the ball.
