Afghanistan defeat Pakistan by three wickets in World Cup 2019 warm-up match

Hasnain has gone from Fast to Express Fast in a few months. Just shows what coaching and being in a professional setup can do for one's development.
 
This is going to be a 2003/2007-esque crapshow campaign from Pakistan.

Our bowling is not up to the task. Unlike CT17 where a couple of good days (and Tissara Perera's generosity) won us the tournament, this format will expose our flaws.

Only certain of beating Sri Lanka.
 
PAK has batted poor actually - watching them batting against AFG spinners, it looked like a crumbling mine field, but Babar's innings should have given a clue. I think, ball gripped a bit early in the innings and PAK batsmen panicked, and Hafeez probably lobbed a full-toss!!! - may not be 350, but 300 should have been reached here.

Inexperience and his running is his only weaknesses. These will take time to learn for a teen who made his debut in March for PAK. Give it some time.
 
I don't know how to feel about this tbh. It's a practice match so has no significance but losing to afg... that's some deep sh*t.

Going to the boundary even quicker... goes to show how just being express fast is an outdatted concept when even batsmen of the weakest batting line up are smashing you.
 
Pakistan coaching staff have to be the most stupid. Keep bowling short with no success.
 
Some fans were saying WI, Bang, Afgh and SL will be walk in the park.
I won’t be surprised if Pak loses all of the matches.

this is pakistan cricket..unfortunatley we havent selected any spinners and our best bowler of the last year isnt here..we have a young pacy rookie who cant get wickets, a tall rookie who cant bowl without giving away 30 in two overs, a old veteran who was so bad the coach couldnt wait to get rid of him, a spinner who cant spin it and looks like he's pregnant, a washed up ex con who used to be the chosen one but is now a has been, and two old veteran spinners who are past it..
 
England has a much more deadly batting than Afghanistan but our bowling has still been better today.
 
Wahab was quick for one over. Looks like he lacks match fitness. Will he maintain that pace for 10 overs

No, it's a practice match and hardly matters, but today it's not for the bowling picks. Your much vaunted batting line-up with PAK's historically best top 3 (who happens to be among top 15 in ICC ranking), didn't do justice to their hype.

Finally Imad comes on.... please pick up 2-3 wickets. We cannot be losing to Afg whether it is warm up or cool down.
 
Wow Afghanistan looking more confident then Pakistan. Why Pakistan is like this all of a sudden meek attitude. Pakistan is not fun anymore

If we lose today, is that more of a wake up call. Or is it a destruction of confidence
 
Is Sarfraz still hoping that AFGs will choke and fail to chase 125 at less than 5 with 8 wickets at hand!!!!!! Come on man, it's a practice game, at least this time show some guts and bring 6-7 men in with couple of catching fielders. Doesn't matter losing inside 40 overs or in 49th over!!!!

We have been getting a wake up every match in the last year. No change. Mickey will still find something positive in losing to Afgh.
 
Afg playing very smartly. No pressure, single double will do the job. We need to stop the singles, bring one more fielder in
