The Afghanistan National Cricket Team is scheduled to tour India for a one-off Test and three ODI matches in June this year.

The series will kick off with the Test match, scheduled to take place from June 6 to 10 at the New Chandigarh Cricket Ground.

The ODI series will commence on June 14 in Dharamshala with the following two matches scheduled for June 17 and 20 in Lucknow and Chennai, respectively.

This will be the second Test match between Afghanistan and India, while the tour will also mark the inaugural ODI series between the two teams.

Additionally, discussions are ongoing regarding a potential three-match T20I series, which is expected to be hosted by Afghanistan in the latter half of the year.

Don't understand the series rt after ipl season. Again India are travelling to UK for limited format. Bcci is treating as if players are machines.

So it means it's curtains for PCA stadium I guess

Expect a B team to be playing the Afghanistan game.
For odis ok.not for test matches after 2 white washes.Irrespective of seniority, every player may have participated in ipl.Lord thakur said the same thing for domestic test schedules. BCCI prepares the schedule as if they don't care about player's health with only 2/3 days gap for each match.

Only Bumrah can be rested. Rest will play. Siraj is not playing T20 WC so he will play and the spinners will play anyways. Batting wise, T20 side is very different from test side.

It’s great that Afghanistan is getting the invitation. It’s very important and supporting for their cricket. Nice gesture from BCCI. Great to see them adding a test match in this.

Onus is on Afghanistan to put up a spirited display to make this rivalry worth frequent repeat matches.

Whether India play their main team or B team, they may lose in Test.

India have become mid-tier in Test.

Even chucker Bumrah became ineffective. :dav
Chucker Malinga couldn't even save your tiny island from becoming a laughing stock around the cricket world. Defeated even by Zimbabwe at home:misbah

2 brother nations will fight it off. India to smash them and send them back home bruised and beaten.

Good.

Now cancel the Bangladesh tour in September (3 ODIs and 3 T20s) and invite top 3 Associates for a T20 competition.
