After the West Indies series - Can we consider inviting Australia for a LOI series in Pakistan?

I say keep playing tests in the UAE for the time being (sadly the only option), and eventually bring the limited overs back to Pakistan.

From what we all have seen, people in Pakistan don't follow test cricket that strictly. Viewership at stadiums is always low.

Australia will not be touring Pakistan for a long long time. Until the situation improves to the point where players can come and basically walk out to any location they want to go to. No one wants to have 1.5-2 month tour where they do nothing but stay in a bubble.

Have the WI even agreed 100% come? Haven't heard any update yet.

I agree but there are several levers we can pull to hopefully convince Aus - it is not a lost cause as some would like you to believe.

What levers? Australia is probably the country the PCB has the least ability to influence.

As most posters have said.

After this successful Lanka match, focus next on BD/WI or a step up to SA.If that goes well Eng or NZ. After that, you've proven you can handle anything. Even keep getting World XI's (of better & better quality) to come every 6-12 months, just to keep normalising tours of Pakistan. Make it routine & safe. Consistent.Anything to get international games in Pakistan to be normal just like any other tour as possible. Get countries used to the idea & comfortable with it. It might be a short term financial loss but is the best way to ensure future success on the field & financially.

I only list the countries in that order as they are the ones most likely to tour, most likely to be swayed by any monetary incentives or who are "good guys" of world cricket who genuinely try to be fair & grow the game. Sadly our current Oz administration doesn't value that so we are really least likely after India to tour Pakistan in the next few years.

Would be nice if South Africa toured for 3 ODIs and 3 T20s
Ideally after PSL 2, so they can become more confident and it opens up Karachi as a venue too

Well the legendary National T20 Cup should be starting soon (again no dates confirmed) so I assume the WI tour would be in late Nov.

I read a report somewhere that said that they will let the PCB know by Wednesday.

We are rumoured to be playing a Tri Series in Zimbabwe involving AUS and Zimbabwe.

And I doubt Aussies will tour Pak, we should push for it though maybe a T20 game to star off with. Baby steps are fine at this stage

They need to convince Bangladesh to play a full series now or at least the LOIs. A Bangladesh home series was arranged and cancelled two months ago because of Bangladesh not willing to tour pak before as per BCCI orders.
