AI used to recreate Simpsons

Is that Akhtar 2nd? These dont seem to hard tbf.

What do you think of the AI? What you expected or not?

i think its amazing, the graphical one at least, i really like this artist, but his paintings are way out of my budget, like 30k, 40k, i asked an AI to make a painting in his style and it looked awesome, am tempted to use another AI to upscale the image and then get it printed out, lol.

the linguistic AI are kinda cool, but quite underdeveloped atm IMO, i still use them a fair bit, and know a lot of people who do at work. the potential is there, altho i dont believe it will become sentient anytime soon.

It feels like there's been a massive spike in AI interest recently. From ChatGPT, to AI images like these, to AI voiceovers, I'm seeing it all over social media.

Can someone share a link for a good AI image generator please?

search midjourney, its amazing, honestly staggering what u can do with it if you know the right inputs. however i think u have a limit on free images, and need to run it on discord.

I would recommend messing around with Dall-E 2, it's fantastic. You type in a description e.g. "a giraffe on the moon drinking tea in Van Gogh style" and it will create multiple images of exactly that.

https://openai.com/product/dall-e-2

It's by OpenAI, who are behind ChatGPT too.

Incredible! THanks for sharing.

Imagine if AI turns more into a criminal once/if it takes over/control!

Pretty cool. I assume these are just supposed to be random people?

Its interesting how AI turns real cartoon characters. What type of tech is used , ie who does AI think what the face would look like etc?

Thats still hard to understand atleast for me, DALL-E does this even when you type things like avocado sofa it gives output.

Check our Omar Gilani’s version of Pakistan using Dall-e.. it was beautiful, mughal architecture in futuristic way, I used to like his work even before Dall e

This is fascinating. Please add other AI recreates to this thread if you see any.

@Cpt.Rishwat - Is this how you have imagined?

Nope not even close. Apu looks more realistic than that monstrosity.

Actually in all seriousness, I never liked that episode where Homer fell into a 3D virtual reality world, looked really weird and somehow looked more fake than the cartoons. Maybe because the technology was quite new then, perhaps it would be better now.

Also agree with what one of the readers said in the article, Ned Flanders looks more like a WWF wrestler than the meek and nerdy character we all know and love.

I love playing with midjourney. My teams uses it iterate quick art concepts and get inspiration. What a time to be alive.

I thought its a pretty good transformation. The big tired eyes, straw longish hair but Apu was a little more happier, this chap looks like he;s been caught by the immigration.

It's strange, I know I started a thread about Apu a few years ago but now I can't find it. Maybe related to Modi's war against free speech, I don't know.Might need reposting as it was a significant insight into Indian male frustration as to their depiction in USA.

Never mind, I found it. Certainly worth revisiting, I feel we have become complacent and some Indian Americans surely feel the same.
