Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is undeniably one of greatest cricketers produced by Pakistan. Akhtar, who still owns the record for the fastest delivery bowled in the history of cricket, is now an expert and gives his opinions on topics which matter the most. Akhtar is one of the most active cricketers on social media and with his YouTube channel launched recently, he continues to give plenty of stuff to his fans to cheer about. The Rawalpindi Express took his fans by surprise as he posted a message for popular Pakistani singer Ali Zafar.

It all started after Shoaib posted a tweet for Ali which read, “Suna hai bara cricketer hai tu (I have heard that you are a cricketer) alizafarsays??” (Also Read: 'Asay nahi hota bhai', Shoaib Akhtar miffed with Pakistan's cluelessness as Australia score big in Adelaide)

Akhtar, who is fondly remembered as one of the most lethal bowlers of his generation, replied, "Tu time aur jagah bataa. Aur phir aik ball touch ker k dikha (you decide the time and place and then try even connecting with one of my deliveries)." (Also Read: Shoaib Akhtar hails 16-year-old Naseem Shah, says Pakistan have found a 'tagda bowler' in youngster)

Zafar, who has sung several songs in Bollywood, took the fans by surprise as he posted a photograph from a cricket ground.

“Ground mein Intezar ker raha hoon. Aik ball mein bhaee kervaoon ga. 172 miles/hour (I am waiting in the ground. I will also bowl a delivery at 172 miles/hour).

Akhtar ended the conversation by tweeting: “Practice ker le rockstar alizafarsays. See you ;)

The fans cannot wait to see what’s brewing between the two popular figures of Pakistan. And if at all a cricket match is in the pipeline, we can expect a huge turnout of cricket fans who have been deprived of regular cricketing action since 2009.

Why is Shoaib talking with tu when Ali is talking with aap. Chotay log.

Every time I watch Mr. Actor analysis or criticism is as if he is trying to practice for Job interview at PCB position.

Below is the song from Ali Gul Pir, dissing Ali Zafar.

People cannot stand Akhtar being busy in retirement. They all thought he would become a depressed, alone druggie like most heavyweight boxers do after their careers are over.

I honestly rate this.

Good for Shoaib, he’s finding ways to stay relevant and make money even after retirement.

Sounds like a «mukk muka»- situation.

Former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar on Tuesday accepted IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals’ challenge of facing their star bowler Jofra Archer.

Days after Akhtar and Pakistani singer turned actor Ali Zafar locked horns in a cracking battle on the pitch, Royals challenged the duo to face Archer next time.
