Federal Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that the French flag carrier Air France is set to resume its operations in Pakistan after 11 years.

While making the announcement on Friday, the minister added that the airline had been planning to resume its services after seeing a conducive business environment in Pakistan.

The petroleum minister lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan for strengthening the country’s trade and bilateral relations. “Pakistan is being led by an honest and visionary leadership, which has helped improve its image among the comity of nations,” he said.

In December, British flag carrier British Airways decided to return to Pakistan and resume its flight operations in Islamabad from June. The airline had suspended its operations from Pakistan in September 2008.

But we are going to be Isolated like no other,,, Immy Govt is killing it on Foreign Policy one breakthrough after another, May this Continue!

this has nothing to do with Foreign Policy.

One of the reasons why Airline companies pulled out of Pakistan was because of terrorist attacks. The marriot attack was the icing on the cake.

It all depends upon the interior minister, how secure has he/she made the country.

Most of these companies pulling out and the Sri Lankan Bus attack should all be blamed on Rehman Malik

When these big airlines were pulling out, Pakistan should had taken advantage of this.

There should had been more home grown airlines. But recently i was told that the CAA charges huge taxes on local airline companies that entering into this business is very difficult. And one of the reasons why Shaheen Airlines had to close down was because of these huge taxes.

This show that the state has been playing a monopoly with PIA

Ever since Yadav was caught the number of terrorist attacks on PK has declined markedly, and that has led to all these airlines coming back.
