What's new

Ajinkya Rahane - Most technically correct Indian batsman since Sachin Tendulkar?

Overseas, he should have been our opener rather than trying and testing many players at the top only to come up with no result.

At home, he has never done well but he had been given a stabilised position at no.5 for years and hence they didn't made the decision to drop him.

Rohit and Mayank looks good pair at top but let's see how things go overseas in the next circle of away tours. Right now they have shown some intent that they can perform away but it's the result which matters.

He is a good backfoot player. But not overly confident against spin. Let us give few more matches and see whether his return to form is just temporary or not.
