Akbar-ur-Rehman, an all-rounder who can bowl both medium-fast and spin as well

Akbar doesnt look too shabby

Might have scored just 11 today but atleast he doesnt look like a hack. Doesnt seem too perturbed by Tait's pace either.

I suggest his case should be open for ODIs, though he isnt exactly a T20 player

I have seen this guy, he is a very good batsman, Not a hack at all, he can play accordingly. Plus he is a medium pacer, leg breaker, and a wicket keeper :))

His feet movement looked fine and he has a flow and rythm to his batting unlike Fawad, Maqsood or Rizwan. I would want him to play for A-teams and even an option for ODI team in future.

His List-A stats are way better than many we have tried.

List A stats of Khurram Manzoor & Khalid Latif are very impressive aswell.

In odi cricket I will prefer Rizwan over akbar , Maqsood, Fawad etc

He moves his feet way more then maqsood, rizwan and shehzad.

I saw him bat against pacers in recently held national one day cup. He doesn't reach pitch of delivery and plays predominantly from crease relying on hand eye coordination. He picks the length of pacers late aswell.

Haris Sohail is not fit for a sport. Fawad Alam is clueless against pace himself, Umar Amin is history.

May be you are right as you have observed him a lot but he looked fine. There is one thing about Karachi players that they are very good against spin but not that well against pace.

In odis I will have babar azam , Umar Akmal and Rizwan in my playing eleven.

Umar Akmal is maturing now and he has cut down his slots and heaves significantly. Won't be throwing his wicket that often. We need him.

After that I am waiting fir Saud Shakeel to be groomed & developed in Pakistan A squad. I rate him very highly.

I prefer dynamic versatile players who have broad short range , who pick pacers length early than their pears and who have reasonably stance and technique. We need Babar Azam like batsman.

And if and when Haris recovers I would want him back too.

Next in line for test debut should be Babar Azam.

Rizwan needs to learn a thing or too.

UA is definitely thinking about his wicket a little these days, although getting heavier day by day.

Khurram and Khalid are proper hacks but this guy looks ro haave a methodical way of batting

IMO, all i am saying is he should be playing for A-teams, because he has it in him to play for Pakistan in ODIs and may be even in tests in future.

We dont need to draft him in immediately, just give him platform to impress, by giving him A-team games, if he delivers we will know he is international standard or not
