Amir Khan offers to pay for life-saving treatment for seven-year-old boy suffering from huge facial tumour
Amir Khan has offered to pay for a seven-year-old boy's life-saving treatment as he battles with a tumour on his face.
Ali Hassan from Pakpattan in Pakistan has a huge tumour that has spread, affecting his eye, nose and mouth.
He was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer earlier this year and in order to save his life, his right eye was removed.
But just weeks after surgery, Ali's face began to swell and resulted in the huge tumour.
Now, his parents are hoping the youngster can live a normal life after the incredible gesture from Khan.
"Amir Khan assured us of all sort of financial help. He told me that he will also visit us," Ali's father Muhammad Mansha said.
"In January this year, a surgery was performed by doctors, removing Ali's right eye. But only weeks after the surgery, his face started swelling and resulted into a huge tumour."
Khan's manager Anwer Ahmed confirmed the youngster will undergo treatment, wherever it is possible.
"I am regularly visiting the boy in the hospital on direction of Amir Khan," he said.
"We are waiting for medical reports. If his treatment is not possible here or in any other hospital in Pakistan, we will take him to any foreign country where medical facilities are much better and advance.
"Amir Khan has told me to be with the family and keep him updated."

same folk criticise him, it just goes to show he can't win no matter what he does. Anyhow am just glad the boy is recovering well and the surgery was successful. I think Slog is probably the only Pak based PPer who is criticising him on that level and he is generally clueless but is only being narrow minded due to various agenda he has otherwise he couldn't care less what Khan or Faryal do, but generally the others are a lot more supportive of Amir and they really love him over there.
