From the other thread and numbers quoted in MIG's posts, the total amount prize money including MOM awards, total cash money for the team and what-not the amount came to £13,000. This is days after Sethi sahab is telling us about tens of millions of pounds of profit.

Question is, where is the money? Why are they not being held accountable? Why is Sethi never asked this question by any journalist(s)?

Disgusting.

Unfortunately the situation would remain the same until we have people running the board who are appointed on merit after a job posting is publicly advertised and each of the candidates is vetted based on their skills and experience.

At the moment we have people running the board who have been appointed for one reason or the other

The million-dollar (or pound) question. All the big talk about so and so profits yet players are paid peanuts, pitches are still pathetic, low quality equipment is used with third-class facilities. And then they talk big about doing so and so, as though some magic solution will appear out of thin air (without actually doing anything to improve the domestic cricket structure) and suddenly we'll start producing world-beaters.

They think talent hunts and training camps will make them world class. Joke of the century. We are even thinking like minnows now.

Because those journos will then lose their free travel to overseas tours, their hotel costs on overseas tours, theor foodpaid for on overseas tours, their freebies at the PSL etc

All this talk about our players not performing because of poor pitches, poor motivation due to no money, poor balls used in domestic arena can be solved if they see even 5% of this money that apparently our board is making. Correct me if I am wrong; but our players are still being paid 5-10k Rs in domestic cricket. Drivers and servants in Pakistan are paid more now. Absolutely shameful.

Its no surprise that some players only play for their places, I mean who wants to drop down to domestic cricket and play at a pittance? Its no wonder our talent pool is drying up. Noone wants to risk their career playing for something which really doesn't help them support their families.

im pretty sure that prize money is a sponsor thing and not PCB thing.
