Are Asian Test teams on the decline?

Except for India which is a good home bully, all Asian teams have been mediocre this year. India lost in Saf and got steamrolled in Eng despite media hype. Pakistan is now losing home series to NZ. SL got freakin whitewashed by England (worst touring side last 5 years) at home.

Should there be an Asian bloc again? India doesn't play Pak and Ban, Pak doesn't play Ban and Ind. As a result the test players of SC are getting worse at playing spin since they don't get to face the best spinners.

All western countries maintain amicable relationship with each other. A shame to see SC teams fighting and losing matches this way.

Our test team makes me feel so despondent.

We only play against weaklings like WI and SL at home, and it seems everytime we head outside Asia we struggle to avoid the customary whitewash.

Only Kohli would make our test team of 10 years ago. Everybody else is a big poser. Especially that KL Rahul!

Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka are border line minnows in the test format. The only stand out Asian side is India who are leading the way. Bangladesh are making steady progress, but apart from India the rest of the Asian sides in test cricket are very poor.
