Don't know why aren't they criticized like Pakistani duo Rizwan-Azam?
Both Rohit and Rahul are out of form since ages. They don't utilise power play and always throw away their wickets when become set.
They are sureshot failures against good bowling line ups and their body language in crucial matches always brings pressure to Kohli and Suryakumar.
Today, they will perform good against Zimbabwe and surely fail against good bowling lineups in knockouts.

They still try to play t20 cricket. I’m not saying they’re a good t20 pair as of right now, both are woefully out of it, but they are superior to current Babar and Rizwan who are allergic to six hitting, picking gaps and playing for the team.

Sir Babar wasted 33 deliveries doing Jack ****. 5 overs of absolutely nothing where he was at 9 off 18 at one point, against a Bangladeshi attack. A SR of 50 in 3 overs played Vs BD is absolutely insane as an opener. WHILST CHASING 128 ). I don’t think Rohit or KL would do something like that.

Seriously? Rohit is a sleeping giant. Once he gets going, he makes sure India gets to a huge total. Rahul is a little limited in comparison but still very good.

At least Rizwan and Babar can preserve their wickets. Against good bowling attacks, R&R not only play PP like a 50 over game but also rarely escape it unscathed.

So yes, we have the better mugs at the top of the order. India wins this point!

overall Rohit-KL are much better than babar-rizwan. nope, not having two openers with a s/r <130 in T20Is. that is poor.
BUT, in this WC rohit has been so poor that any pair can be called better.

Ashwin? No way ! Produced two clutch performances with bat. Bowling was below average though. Can't blame him for perth fiasco where spinners hve no role

Thing with Pakistan is, we know that their openers have limited gears, hence limited intent.

However, Rohit and KL approach is baffling. Virat and SKY can't make up for their tuk tuk every match.

Rohit is at t he end of his career. Not the same anymore. He is basically a non playing captain

Very rarely will you see Bab-Ri fail against minnow teams. They have a plan and stick to it.
No-Hit/KL on the other hand seem to have no plan to execute. Just want to swing their bats and try their luck. Seem to be braindead against all teams.
