League had a rebranding to Premier league but yes there is no doubt LFC is the most successful English football club with 20 titles and 6 European cups.

With Utd in a misery LFC have a good opportunity to make it 21 but wont be easy as the English top league is more competitive than ever with many teams beating each other .

Don't know whether it's Ferguson's fault, that United could never bounce back big after him.

The board, owners and their strategy. Using the club to finance other projects, pilling up debt and in desperation signing avg players on huge contracts. Will take min 3 years to challenge if they get things right .

On paper yes. They have equal league titles and more european cups when compared to Man Utd.

However, making a comparison across eras is difficult.

You can say they are the most successful club but there is a bit more nuance to saying they are greatest.

Klopps team liverpool 2.0. Slot knows this, can he get the champions league next season?
Not a big ask for this side, but besides Salah, VVD other struggles in UCL...They need to believe in their capabilities. And they still miss a guy like Mane...

The question needs to be reworded, they are not the greatest club in EPL history, that is Manchester United

However I think they are the greatest club in English football history

Manchester United are still an emotion. Their impact on football worldwide is immense. Back in the day Man U is the reason for many people all around the world becoming Football fans.

Aston Villa are right up there but I am willing to agree it’s LFC as a neutral party :yk3

The reason Man U miss out for me is because I’ve never seen LFC humiliated like this so consistently when you look at the post Fergie era, United have diminished their aura significantly, maybe someone can prove to me that I am wrong, but I don’t think so…..
