Babar Azam scored back to back hundreds in 1st and 2nd ODI but didn't get a single MOM for that and he deserved it far more in the 2nd ODI

Today Hasan bowled a superb spell and got Pakistan back in the game but didn't get the recognition he deserved. Debutante Imam got the award instead which isn't wrong because scoring a match winning hundred on your debut is award worthy feat

What do you guys think

Who cares? If the team is winning it makes no difference who gets the man of the match.

All were 50/50 calls.

Shoaib Malik's 80+ was a game-changing knock. Shadab put up 50 (from 101/6) + 3 wickets. Imam hit a match-winning century on debut.

They could have honestly shared each one, it was that close.

The thing is these awards are handed out purely on the basis of opinions offered by the commentators. And everyone will always have a different view of things and sometimes even biases come in to play. I also felt Hassan deserved it more, Danny Morison felt the same and stated it in commentary. I think it is enough to be considered as a MOM candidate to indicate the impact you have had on the game winning the award in most cases has a lot to do with luck. Unless you put forward an overwhelmingly dominant performance opinions and whims can rob you of the award.

Malik was rightly given MOM in 1st game as his blisterimg inns got us up to 290 when inns was going at snails pace.

Shadab got a handy 50 and then vital wickets when defending low total so rightly given.

Hasan v imam was a 50/50 tough decision.

In end right decisions have been made.

I think Malik's innings was deserving as his SR changed the tempo of the game; Shadab's was deserving too as he got runs and wickets. Yesterday, if anyone else scored the century Hasan Ali probably would have got MOTM but as it was Imam's debut it was fair enough.

1st two were justified, Malik & Shadab had more impact on the result of the respective match than Babar.

Yesterday, Hasan deserved it more in my opinion because Sri Lanka were going good when Hasan started taking wickets in the middle overs.
