After the whole CJ fiasco, the courts ruled against he govt. on numerous occasions. But then, some very important decisions also went in favor of the govt, like the "president in uniform" issue, which is still pending, but should have been decided earlier. Nawaz sharif was still deported in a clear comtempt of court, but the court still haven't issued a verdict on that. he NRO decision is still pending. Why are these decisions still pending?

My question, after the whole CJ issue, when people showed whose side they were on, are the courts in Pakistan really independent? or so they still consider pressure on them from the establishment?
