Are the Pakistan players at risk of burnout before the World Cup? Or is it the ideal preparation?

Depends on how management handles the players as en example from Australia series up until England tour if someone like Shaheen or Amir as an example play every single game than yes thier can be that possibility , they need to manage the players wisely especially the fast bowlers

The fitness level of the players will depend on how they are managed because that is a lot of cricket over a 5 month cricket, continuous PSL, then international cricket. It is a lot for anyone to handle. The younger players need to be taken care of the most.

Precisely, the fast-bowlers will have to be rotated and handled with a lot of care.

It will a good excuse if we don't go to semi-final. PCB after all planned smart way

With the fitness levels that they have it won't be a surprise if a few of them go down closer to the WC.

Poor fitness and training regimes will make sure that this is a possibility.

Ideal practice just have to rotate the players properly so everyone gets enough rest and match practice.. Coaches and support staff are paid millions of $$ and this is their primary job so I assume Mickey Arthur will find the right balance

Big burn out and the will to play games... these guys have been on the road since that zinbabwe tour last year. A combination of mixed results specially losing the saf series and the tests agaisnt kiwis has increased any confidence. A lot of work nweds done and maybe work on technical skills and fitness could have done more better along with a shortened series agaisnt aus and eng. Regardless of whatever rhe results are pakistan will have to test each and every player in the prelim squad.

should use these matches as a way to test different line ups..

one other thing we should do is bat first on a tough pitch and bat second when batting gets tougher.

Batting and bowling goes along with rhythm. What u suggest will lower their already shaky confidence levels further down, hence I expect Misbah mode to be triggered where they will be blown away in this modern age of ODI and will hav no chance winning a single game.
