Are the speeds reported by speed guns in PSL inflated?

It seems like the speed guns over inflated in PSL because in PSL we see players like Haris, Nadeem, Hasnain bowling in 150s but when it comes to international cricket, all of them are usually bowling in 135-140 range. Even Carse is bowling faster than our so called sooperstars

I don’t remember many bowlers bowling 150+ in the PSL. There may have been 1 or 2 balls hitting that speed but the average speed was probably around 145-147

Even if it was 145-147. That is still quick but here in this match all Haris, Hassan, Shaheen we’re bowling in mid 130s

They won't go all out in the 50 over format.

In T20's, the bowlers can steam in and let it rip because they only need to bowl 4 overs, but bowling 10 overs requires more stamina and the need to conserve energy.

At least bowl quickly when you have 141 on scorecard? It's not like the match was gonna go until the last few overs.

They were straying down the leg side even with speeds of 130 to 140.
Bowling 150+ would have made the fans happy but become 4 leg byes.

Lewis Gregory can bowl decent line and length to make it hard to score against him.

Pakistan fans are inflated with the fascination for pace

Fans should be demanding intelligent bowling , hitting consistent line and length. The discipline for bowling has evolved , no batsman have fear in their eyes facing 150+ wayward bowling instead they are itching to face such balls to hammer them around the park merrily.

These guys are not physically fit to that level to bowl at express pace for anything more than one or two balls in a 4 over spell in T20.

That’s the reason the same bowlers including Shaheen and Hassan Ali barely go past 135kph when having to bowl for a bit longer in ODI or test cricket.

A bowler like Haris Rauf can never bowl at decent line and length because he’s a gully mahola bowler and tape ball bowler where all you have to do is bowl defensively Bc all you thinking is restrict runs as the batters in tape ball cricketers are hacks and sloggers.

If the bowlers know how to swing or seam the ball around , hit consistent line and length even 125kph is more than enough to trouble the batsman..

Please stop the fascination for pace , which these bowlers and pak fans are after when things have evolved so much in cricket and the reality is completely different...

The team is playing the 90s brand of cricket so the fans are watching it the same way lol:asif

Basically the case with all countries who have not been able to dedicate different set of bowlers for tests and white ball cricket.

In modern cricket, a bowler playing all formats simply cannot sustain that pace for so long.

I am very disappointed with H Rauf. Having seen his spells in Big Bash, and his aggression, was expecting a lot of fire from him in international cricket. Sadly, that little spat with Babar Azam is all the fire i have seen so far.

Like I said above, they were not going all out in the ODI series because they wanted to reserve their energy for the full 10 overs.

All 3 of the pacers were comfortably bowling around 90mph.
