Some brilliant negotiation tactics and genuine goodwill in my view - but is this outcome to your liking?

I think they would have discussed it as both teams will not be playing anything during IPL.Why not - playing cricket is always better. Also, more or less every cricket board is cornered by the Big 3, financially, schedule wise as well. The more we can use the space the better. In fact, I am more interested in a return series during IPL, which should be financial hit.

No one is stopping them, and no players from either side is in IPL. The media market is also different - then why not? IPL or BCCI hardly bothers for what other boards are doing as long as it doesn't hurt their interest. It's the other boards who have to take bold calls here and take initiatives - if IPL becomes 4 months affair, should we sit out most part of our cricket season? Next is coming ECBs league, which will again become a mega buck event - what should we do then - sit out another 3 months with one Shakib & one Mustafiz/Tamim earning money?
Production, broadcasting and audience are different - absolutely no reason why we can't play cricket of our own and I am sure IPL won't have any issue here. Australia even didn't stop their International schedule when BBL is happening.

What's the weather like in BD during April-May? Ramadan also from the third week of April, I think.
There aren't any Bangladeshi players in the hundred (the ECB league). Also only lasts 1 month.
I actually didn't mention the 100s, rather the planned Cricket EPL, not sure if it's scrapped or not.
The hundred is the ECBs only planned new league, there was never anything else.
I am not aware of that - last year Tamim & Mustafiz played in ECB T20, Shakib probably as well.

Happy? It is a disaster. We have been humiliated.
Oh you mean the county T20 blast? Don't think there was any Bangladeshis in that last year.
Nice I would play this squad:
1. Fakhar Zaman
2. Babar Azam*
3. Umar Amin
4. Mohammad Rizwan+
5. Iftikhar Ahmed
6. Khushdil Shah
7. Imad Wasim
8. Shadab Khan
9. Mohammad Amir
10. Mohammad Hasnain
11. Haris Rauf
———————————-
Mohammad Nawaz
Imam ul-Haq
Amad Butt
Hussain Talat
Fakhar and Rizwan need to be backed for a couple of more matches at least. Umar Amin and Imam both had a great 2019 in white ball cricket. Iftikhar deserves to play based on his performance in Australia. Hasnain needs to play the 1st match instead of giving him the dead rubber as always. Nawaz is blessed in 3 facets of the game. Amad Butt and Talat are two talented youngsters.
Haris Sohail misses out due to poor form. Wahab Riaz, Musa and Irfan all struggled in Australia as well.
What's are there no Bangladeshi players in IPL? I haven't followed up with the draft picks etc, I didn't know that was the case.
They should most definitely schedule a return series right before Ramadan.
Bud, what's your point here? OK - let me clear it for you, if it helps.
I mentioned EPL (ECB's T20 league - didn't know that they made it 100 balls, 4 weeks circus, which I hardly care about), because potentially it should have the financial muscle to drag world cricket like IPL (It did actually, when 50+ top Internationals used to play in Counties, for 5 months world cricket calendar stopped).... and mentioned three BD players which came to my mind at first click, who had played in some English leagues in past. Now, I could have come with a laundry list of 50+ players who potentially could have played there, but then my harmless three liners would have been another essay. Which, I don't think was worth here - those who are interested, got the message.
Second "meaning" of my post that could have stuck in you is that I am trying to sell Bangladeshi TALUNT to English cricket - no, that actually wasn't my intention - just mentioned 3 names whom I know played in some English games. It can happen again and that doesn't mean our National cricket should be stopped.
And, if you have any issues with the prospect of BD players playing in UK in future, get over it.
I hope it helps this time clearing the misunderstandings.
Win-win for all.

Common sense has prevailed.
PCB has got the full series at home.
ICC comes out of this in good shape.
BCB gets some Test cricket, short trips to Pakistan and probably a back-door deal from ICC.

This
Should make Pakistan v Bangladesh an yearly affair during IPL. Should be home and away.
During IPL, no one will watch it. IPL is bigger than the world cup

Not necessarily. The biggest markets in terms of viewership after India are Pakistan and BD. I don't know how much IPL was popular in either of those markets, but it will definitely take away some of the viewership.
