Are you missing Bangladesh in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026?

So that there are at least a few one sided games in favour of opposition team vs Bangladesh?
Looking ag what weaker team did in this tournament, I believe Bangladesh would have done well.
Afghanistan was defeated by Bangladesh in Asia cup, they had a very close game against Pakistan too.

Definitely missing Bangladesh. If they were playing, Group C would've been tough for England

Mohammad Salahuddin calls ex-sports advisor 'liar' for changing T20 World Cup stance

http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-new...ormer-bangladesh-sports-advisor;-calls-him-a-"liar"-bangladesh-icc-mens-t20-world-cup-2026-boycott

Looks like Bangbros have also learned how to make U-turns from their Pakistani brothers as well.
This topic deserved a separate thread. Bangladesh interim government made the decision not player's amd it was forced by Naqvi to not play in india. Lol

Salahuddin revealed that the national cricketers were devastated at missing the World Cup, describing the decision as "killing the dream" of the players.

:kp

Cricket is not more important than a human life. It is just a sport.

Bangladesh did the right thing by not coming to India. I hope they will continue to not come to India indefinitely. :inti
Well- they are already asking to meet up with bcci and " solve " the issues LOL.:dw. everyone knew it was an election stunt.. ao you can cut the BS and talk about reality

BD doesnt want to come to India, but would love for India to tour BD, Jammati logic.....

with the current Jammati Jhadist BD cricketing fans mindset such as Mas/Sweepy, will India really be safe touring to BD?

ICT should stay away from Sylhet, Dhaka, Mirpur khets and Jammati locusts

Perhaps. It is up to them to assess their safety and security themselves. It is convenient to blame Mustafizur but that exclusion was done in the background of anti Bangladeshi sentiment and aggressive statements made from BJP politicians. Convenient to view it as a singular event but we need to see the context behind it. There is no hiding when BJP members termed his exclusion as a victory for all Hindus. Of course it then carries a safety risk. Not everything is one sided brother.
See, you’re either being naive or being ignorant or biased about this. Look, I have realized you don’t like India or Indians having read your posts, but think about this from a rational and logical perspective. I didn’t agree with or like Mustafizur’s exclusion from the IPL and said so before as well, but this was, like you said, a total political statement. It’s not just India that had anti-Bangladesh sentiments, Bangladesh also had anti-India sentiments after Hasina’s ouster. It was a two-way street. The stand to ban Mustafizur was to not let a Bangladeshi player profit from India, vis-a-vis Pakistan, given the circumstances.
You were quick to latch on to the statement of a BJP official regarding this issue, but could you point where or who said there were security issues for him in India? It had nothing to do with security, it was just politics.
It doesn’t serve Bangladesh to have poor relations with India with the trade suffering so much, nor does it serve BCB to have poor relations with BCCI. Now that the new government has been elected, you’ll suddenly see all these security issues vanish and India becoming “safe” again, reiterating what I said before - it was all political and not a security related issue.

Subcontinent countries have 0 future without getting along and getting to work with India. Maldives- brought down to earth, Bangladesh- begenning to descend back to earth, Srilanka- brought to earth already few years back, Nepal- anti-India govt brought down to earth by their people.

Afghanistan- well we have great people to people connect, so even if someone installs a hostile govt, it wants to get along with India for mutual benefit as it can’t go against its people, be it pro India democratic governments of Afghanistan or radical groups like Taliban etc.

Pak also knows this but then what’s the point? 😁

The sooner everyone realizes this especially from cricket context good for the game.

Yes we armchair experts can say whatever we want, doesn’t change ground realities.

Hopefully the new administration bring bd back into the international fold and help them get recognised as a test nation again

There’s not been a single day at the event I didn’t miss my dear Bangladeshis.

Whatever happened was wrong and it’s sad they were mercilessly removed.

Always standing in solidarity with you @sweep_shot

I always miss loser BD and their pathetic fans. Without them who will provide us with constant supply of memes, jokes, cringe, photos, crying, losing, dances, etc etc. the are the worst major country ever to play any sport and they are also one of the best entertainers for being clown they are

No..they are an ordinary team who don't provide any value on the cricket field..honestly speaking the only thing I value Bangaldesh in cricket is the good fight they used to give to Inda in the 2016-2018 era..and beyond that it's all comedy ...naagin dance pre celebration and the tiger cub fans crying

Humm. If Bangladesh would have played they would have been into the final and become champion- I can say that confidently and safely .

🤣

@sweep_shot safe to say you are revered by ind posters here. They think about you all the time… you’re living rent free in their heads lol.. while they pretend to not care.. seems like they crave your attention.

Another day of the World Cup.

Another day of missing a brotherly nation which was wronged by the ICC.

Bangladesh 🇧🇩 will always be missed by those who are genuine lovers of the game. What happened to Bangladesh was wrong, sad and a humiliating thing. But we are 100% sure they will rise once again.

LOL! Yup.

My objective is to rile them up for my own amusement. They always fall in the trap. :qdkcheeky

Let's see. While I am a proud ally of Bangladesh we can through the thread and see the stereotypes Indians made.

1. Weak Players who can't hit
2. Bowlers who bowl pies.
3. Crowd that cries and gets sad and generally looks ugly.
4. Team that isn't competitive and doesn't even try.
5. Whining players.

Indians don't need to miss these things from Bangladesh. Their own team produced a tribute act, infront of 100k fans in a rigged draw to maximise their TV viewership.

What I find ironic is how Indians for decades condemned Pakistanis for its racial stereotyping, coarse language, and mistreatment of Bangladeshis.

Now they're happy to use all kind of epithets against Bangladesh, yet wonder in amazement why anti-Indian sentiment exists.
