"As a captain I cannot even imagine keeping Hassan Ali out of our team" : Babar Azam

Dont forget it was Australia's worst day in field

Dropped 3 catches
on the face 3 full tosses (no balls)
David Warner was not out

lol yeah ,,, there were still 6 balls to go and Stoinis was on the wicket who is a bigger and better hitter than Wade can ever be. The dropped catch didn't mean anything.

Even 190 wasn't defendable. And that's where all the problem lies.
You lot thought 176 was defendable. WRONG and UNREALISTIC assumption. It NEVER was.

You have been making very intelligent post consistently however Poster blinded by few wins failed to see
the truth. though 176 was a decent score but in slog overs as ball get bit old and soft it nicely sit up when
you try slow balls and bowlers are not good enough to ball yorkers consistently.

Pakistan, has wasted a tremendous opportunity to win a cup, They have been primarily done by an amazing "Thinktank" which has been as rigid in its approach as a "Dead Wood". They simply refuse to try out anything different not even removing imad against warner and list is long.

Stop molly coddling Hasan Ali, his mediocre bowling and that dropped catch did effectively cost us the game in the end. Whenever he came on, Australia took him apart for 10-12 runs per over quite easily and that dropped catch at THAT stage completely broke the team. T20 is all about momentum and a premiere pace bowler dropping a catch, after conceding 15 runs in the previous over he completely let the team down.

Don’t troll him, don’t make memes on him but let Hasan Ali know that he cost his country a place in the World Cup final.

TBH he also got slammed bu Van Dussen in the warm up match against SA and was clearly the weak link...but Babar kept backing him for no reason..

Hasan Ali bowled poorly in all the matches but others stepped up every time to save him. Management was too timid to make changes. Deserve to lose.

even if Hasan is bad

What about Shaheen , getting smacked for 3 sixes?
Amir got Kohli twice after he was dropped by Azhar Ali, that shows class of better bowler

That was in the beginning overs not at the end.

Even worse for Pakistan.

2 no balls from Pakistan. 1 that went for 6 on the no Ball
An Umpires Call.
A dropped catch.

Yes it was defendable. What you will say if pak have scroed 195 and still it was chased? They should have scored 215? lol!! They made average players stoinis and wade looks like yuvraj and dhoni, its their rubbish death over bowling who gave up in the last few overs. Its their stiff mentality to not experiment and overcome their weaknesses against scotland and namibia. 176 was completely defendable on this surface.

We all know that normally Hassan is in the face of the opposition, full of energy in the field, backing his team-mates, very vocal in the field also. But during the T20 World Cup he seemed very subdued and lacking in confidence which was out of character.

Was he fully fit is a question that probably needs asking.

Dont mean to belabour the point. But Hasan potentially cost two key matches within the space of a few months. His dropped catch in the first test against the Windies cost us that match and the series and now he potentially cost us the SF. By the way both catches were dropped on the boundary in the mid-wicket area!

Agree we should not make him a scapegoat, but lets be fair and Wasim a run at the position to see if he can make it.

Babar showing good confidence in Hassan in Bangladesh.
