If India had beaten England in the dead rubber , England would have been out of the tournament , Pakistan would have made the semi final.

India-New Zealand league match was abandoned due to rain. New Zealand gained a point from that match as did India. India who topped the group & had beaten New Zealand 4-1 in New Zealand early that year in 2019 would have crushed New Zealand in that group game & Pakistan would have qualified for the semis.

If India vs New Zealand group match had taken place, it would have also helped India in the semi-final which was lost by just 18 runs.

The current team has more potential than the 23 team Maaz Saim Fakhar Hassan all can score at a decent rate which is important Ghulam Agha can be part of the middle order Babar is likely to come back in 50 overs he's not so bad compared to T20...... but yes Rizwan should be dropped and Shaheen should be dropped and made to earn his place instead of walking into the team and producing mediocre performances.

I like the fact that Maaz is playing, Hassan needs to be back in, Saim too.

If you gave me a line up of Maaz, Saim, Ghulam, Hassan, Agha etc, I would back them to the hilt.

Babar is just living on reputation. He should not be let back in until he proves he’s improved. He’s probably the worst version of Babar there has ever been right now. Rizwan, less said the better.

I have some hope because despite our loss, I felt Hesson had a plan for the WT20 & did his best to work within the toxic constraints, the PCB appear to have persisted with him for now & hopefully he can find a more stable formula, because after this, when Qudrat Ka Nizam & Molvi Mania make another comeback, that will be it for me. They’ve already got the ball rolling there as Misbah is involved? He always is, the biggest cancer to our cricket, and he hurts us the most post spot-fixing, if Butt & Amir are to be rightly criticised, it should especially be for the influence Misbah still has on our cricket to this day.

I watch cricket because I like this sport. Nothing to do with nationalism or patriotism. If my country win, that's a bonus.

I also used to play club cricket myself. Those who played/play hard ball cricket are likely to be more neutral (than those who don't).
