Shamim isn’t international ODI standard wth was that to a straight ball he went on backfoot. Jadeja bowls accurate you should known that play forward that was poor stuff.

50 up for Hridoy. He has been quite reliable for Bangaldesh this Asia Cup
He will need to take the Bangladesh innings deep

Good brave recovery from Bangladesh. Though it will be a cake for India to chase ,but at least our batsmen showed some class and resilience.

But most of these guys won't be in the final XI for the world cup. Wish Iyer had been available. He has been our b est ODI batsman in the middle for a while. SKY is waste of time.

Apart from Tilak and Prasidh all are part of World Cup Squad .Iyer is still not completely fir that's why Tilak get his chance .Now I want to see where is Sky bat as I want him to use as an finisher .

From where BD were in the first 10 overs. I’d take that. Brilliant late order batting. Finally batted whole 50overs since Afg match.

India still favourites to chase these runs but least it’s a decent total to defend. 80-20 India!

Thought prasidh looked pretty good. Pacey. Has bounce.
Maybe potentially a 3 bowling option after bumrah and siraj.
 
Not sure what is the point of BD not using their full team. As it is they are not going to go very far in this world cup. Whatever the practice they could get they should take it. India has an excuse of playing games on 3 consecutive days.
 
Tanzim Hasan Sakib is from my ends in Bangladesh same sub-district of Sylhet! Two Sylhetis in the XI Nasum and Tanzim!

What pacey? He was bowling between 137-142. That is not pacey. Its the same pace that Siraj or Shami bowls except that Prasidh is much inferior to them.
I don't understand the hype with him. He is decent. Other than his average bowling, he does not offer anything else. He can't bat and fielding is average at best.

Arshdeep can at least swing the new ball. Prasidh does nothing. He bowls gun barrel straight usually at 137k's. He does not deserve a place in the squad just for that.

Still the best option for finishing, highly experienced. Age doesn’t matter. Misbah played till mid 40s, Sachin played till almost 40?despite so much resources india has, Sanath. Mahela, Sanga etc. Mahmudullah still fit that’s what matters.

Yes but he is able to generate bounce which many players struggle against. I agree though, siraj is better.

How old is prazidh? Haven't seen him play apart from the series vs england where he did well.
 
India dropped 5 catches and the so called left arm spin all-rounders were exposed. Part timer Varma bowled 4 overs and would have got a wicket if Rahul didn't drop a catch.
 
Bangladesh putting a stronger fight vs India in comparison to the overhyped Pakistan. Clearly shows that the Pakistani team has a severe mental block they are yet to get over when they have to face India.

Mustafizur should also bowl back of length to Gill, once you pitch it up Gill is comfortable.
 
Bangladesh has got a few good pacers. Mustafiz is the only concern. On good batting wickets he gets clobered
 
That's was nothing delivered just tilak don't know where is his off stump . Bangladesh is building pressure and favourite to win from now .

The more I watch Gill these days, the more I am losing confidence in his ability to play good bowling. His feet usually go no where and does not middle anything. He has become an expert at hitting the ball straight to the fielder. His ability to play spin was always suspicious too.

Problem of Pakistan is the team selection, just like us. Proper squad selection is paramount. You should minus Shadab, Haris, Faheem ASAP.

Brother if I was a selector I'd minus pretty much everyone besides our bowling trio and Babar himself.
 
This is a tricky pitch. India are without Kohli and Hardik. Rohit was out for a duck.

Good test for India.
 
If India loses today, I don't mind. Their giving much needed practise to their bench strength and Rahul, Kishan and Gill and being groomed as the eventual successors after kholi and rohit depart.
 
KL Rahul apparently is one of the best players of spin in Indian domestic cricket, looks like the team management have finally got it right by putting him in the middle order. He was always struggling against the new ball vs pacers. Another brilliant decision to revive the career of one of their prospects.

Indian team management and BCCI really knows how to get the best out of their players unlike PCB

India have always been good at reviving careers. They turned rohit from a medicore middle order batsmen to an ATG of the game.

Granted rohit isn't the same as he use to be, but his contributions at opening have made him a world class legend. They are doing the same with Rahul.

In Pakistan it is the opposite, We have ruined upcoming rising stars and turned them into hasbeens. Haider Ali, Sami aslam, Saim ayub(Yes he's already being ruined), saud shakeel, umar akmal, the list goes on and on.
 
If SKY gets a good long batting stint today then this Asia cup will have served India good in terms of batting practice in live game scenario.
Hardik ,kishan, kohli, rahul got good batting practice in the Pakistan games.
Rohit and gill got some decent practice against SL and Pakistan . Now only shreyas and sky missed out.
This game is chance for surya to get a good time in on the crease and hopefully he grabs this chance

KL has always flattered to deceive. He remains bang average in my eyes

That was a beauty which came in, he thought it was an outswinger and left it.
 
Iyer is very important becouse he can play spin very well but he also can't play short balls
 
SKY is a proper hack. He will forever will remain a T20 player and won't make the cut in ODI team.
 
We aren't winning and Australia also losing so Pakistan again might become No. 1 odi side after few hours
