India will face Sri Lanka in the sixth Super Four fixture of the Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday, September 26. With India already through to the final and Sri Lanka out of contention, the match serves as a dead rubber.

India booked their place in the final with a convincing 41-run win over Bangladesh, marking their second straight victory in the Super Fours. With four points and a strong net run rate, Suryakumar Yadav’s side will use the game to test combinations ahead of the title clash.

Sri Lanka, meanwhile, endured a frustrating campaign, narrowly losing to both Bangladesh and Pakistan. With no points from two outings, they are officially out of the tournament.

Tilak/Abhi/Rinku /Shivam can combine to get 8 overs out of them. Rest between Arshdeep, Harshith , Kulli/Varun, Akshar

Feel key guys like Jassi, Hardik and Sanju would do better with the rest before Finals.

Lastly, not at all sold on our fielding.

I feel our guys are loosing the ball in its downward descent (maybe the ring of fire has an effect? - but cannot use as an excuse) - the last few metres before catching, either we are too close or too far -cannot afford listless fielding in finals.
