The Asia Cup 2025 final in Dubai was not only a showcase of high-quality cricket but also of light-hearted on-field exchanges. Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed, known for his signature head-gesture celebration, brought it out once again after dismissing Sanju Samson in a tense phase of India’s chase.

Later, after the match ended, some Indian players were seen playfully mimicking Abrar’s celebration, a clip that quickly spread across social media and drew amused reactions from fans. The moment highlighted how individual expressions on the field can sometimes spark equally spirited responses.

Abrar's post wicket neck twist is the dumbest celebration in cricket memory. Looks like someone having a neck cramp.
Abrar might have thought it is a clever way of giving a send off without using the finger (which leads to fines) but it just looks moronic.

It looks moronic, even Wasim Akram in the commentary box has said that in the past. but you have just to plug in your bigotry in each post.
I will not insult Pakistanis by clubbing them at your level.

Henceforth, if bowler makes this celebration, then it shall be named as Abrar celebration

Come on, you guys used to love when Miandad mocked Kiran More and other such gestures. I still see many use that example as being a badass. What happened to you guys? Gone soft?

When you win and are dominant everything feels good, when you lose its bad sportsmanship when the other team does it.

I can understand the rest of the Indian players making fun of it, but Samson?

Surely you're making fun of yourself too considering you got out to that bowler twice in the same match

Suryakumar and bcci have destroyed this beautiful game that we call cricket.

Politicising this event when the rss paglus raised voices is so low because clearly you were okay before this and also shook hands with mohsin naqvi

Considering 8-0 in last 8 match and 3-0 in Asia cup , Pakistan team , Players, Management should stay quiet knowing how Hard they were humiliated by India SINCE 2022

I'm just using your logic here.

Actually, this celebration looks cool to me, no offense at all. I think even the Indian players are just enjoying the fun, just like Hasaranga.

Subhanallah, When a looser team like Pakistan and its fans are enjoying this humiliation, but Indian players are actually winner of Asia cup They have every right to celebrate as they wish.

Abrar's celebration is most cringe send off I have ever seen in cricket.

I don’t know why people have issues with his celebrations. It’s still better than what Hassan Ali used to do before injuring his neck.
