Bit unfair considering the required RR was 13+ from the start of the chase.

You can’t judge Farhan, Niazi or Haseebullah based on this as they are playing in completely alien conditions and trying to score 13 runs per over.

Rizwan and Babar should have done better though.

I don't think you can read too much into this one. When someone plays an innings like Maxwell does then unless you have a Fakhar opening its never going to be a contest. Scoreboard pressure was always going to be too much.

It it what it is. 94 was always going to be hard to chase.

Move on to the next one. It's just a game.

Hoping Rizwan sees it how it is and brings back the RizBar opening partnership. We went from tripping up at the final hurdle in the 2021 and 2022 editions of the T20 WC to being disasterous in the 2023 edition.

Rizwan and Babar up top followed by three or four batsmen who can play explosive cameos is the best batting template for Pakistan. Stop trying to play like England when you don't have the players for that style of cricket.

Fakhar & Saim opening are the players to implement that style of play in future series.

Maxi s cameo was the difference.

RIZWAN and Babar are absolutely woeful white ball batters - particularly T20s. And a shortened game which should be advantageous for true batters and hitters, becomes a torture for these accumulators.

Same for other accumulators like Farhan, Haseebulah, Agha Salman… like what the hell are these Test level strike rate batters doing in T20s?
