All round brilliance from Saim Ayub 40(22) & (2/29), paired with magnificent bowling display from Abrar Ahmed (2/10) powered hosts to take 1-0 lead in the 3-match T20I series.

The second T20I will be played on January 31 at the same venue. Pakistan lead the series 1-0 with two more matches to go.

Why not STOP before wishing for an injury?

I agree that Nafay sounds like a better prospect than Usman, but never at the cost of someone being hurt. Goodluck to both!

Faheem for who? His bowling has not been even ok lately. These pitches are so awful that I doubt any spinner/spin alrounder will be sitting out. He should only play a dead rubber.

Naseem might replace Shaheen and Usman T. for Salman.

He is the worst player I have ever seen to play this many matches.

30 matches with average of 18 and strike rate of 118.

They made a mistake by announcing squad before deadline. Otherwise they could have dropped at least one of Fakhar or Babar and kept Hasan Nawaz or anyone else that would have been more useful.

Yeah... Nafay should have played the first game as well.... Even if we have to rest fakhar again.. he is useless as well atm... Usman has been a disappointment.. Not an international quality at all

They cut cake even when they lost for a personal milestone. Celebrated hitting sixes off Bumrah, honkong sixes celebration. Pakistan has this habit of celebrating non-events compared to other countries. SO not surprisingly they are celebrating for defeating Austrlaia in a T20 after 7 years.

Pak produced a low scoring pitch for t20wc but lanka produced a batting wicket.pak better go back to normal batting wickets in next 2 matches.lanka scored 75 in first 7 overs.
